Kingdom Hearts: Broken Sky

Cyphus was very confused. A Key...blade? "Are you guys talking about this thing?" Cyphus pulled out his keyblade and held it in front of him for the others to see. "I got it recently. I'm Cyphus by the way." Cyphus turned to Gexlin "Did you say you were a Nobody?"

 

"Yes, i'm a Nobody" Gexln responded.

 

Drew, Keiko and Ric were all looking with surprise at Cyphus and his Keyblade. Ric merely grunted moodily and turned away again while Keiko spoke. "Are you from a different world too?" she asked. Drew shook his head. "I think I've seen him around town a few times, and he certainly talks like a local. I mean, he knew what the Edge was when I mentioned it." He turned to Cyphus and Gexln. "Where did you find that? And what's a Nobody?"

 

"Nobody. A being incapable of feeling. Has no heart" Get the picture? Gexln asked.

 

Drew got the picture. "Lose your heart?" It didn't exactly sound fun.

 

Gexln sighed. "Sometimes,when a person's heart is released, their spirit lives on. If the heart is strong enough, they become reborn without their heart in the form of a Nobody" he explained.

 

Cyphus smiled. "I'm definitly not from any other world. I don't know how I got this thing but..." Cyphus looked at Keiko and smiled, she was very pretty. "Did you say you were from another world?"

 

Keiko smiled back. He seemed like a friendly sort. "Yes," she said. "I'm from a world called Radient Gardens, but it has been lost. There are thousands of worlds out there, you can tell everytime you look at the stars." Keiko looked up at the sky, even though it was morning and the stars weren't visible. She looked back at Cyphus, and her smile was gone. "All those worlds are in danger. Danger of being lost like mine. Danger of being consumed by the Darkness. I'm going to go back out there to try and stop it."

Drew was still thinking about what Gexln had said. About losing your heart. The idea scared him, he didn't want to think about it anymore. But he couldn't get it out of his head. He turned to Gexln. "Does... does it hurt to lose your heart?"

 

Cyphus frowned. "But why? Can't you stay for a little while?" Cyphus didn't know why he cared what happened to this girl. He had only met her like ten minutes ago.

 

Gexln looked at Drew. "Losing your heart? It hurts slightly. Imagine a thousand needles poking into your heart all at once,quickly and repeating over and over again, and you have an idea of what it's like" he said. He sighed. "So,who has any idea how the worlds could be saved from this supposed darkness?" he asked,jumping to the point.

 

Keiko sighed. "This," she said, summoning her Keyblade. "The Keyblade is a powerfull weapon, and although it can be used in darkness, it was made to work in light. Darkness might seem like the winning solution, but Light will always overcome. But for Light to overcome, it first must be used, and to be used, it must be known of. I am going to spread the Light to as many worlds as I can reach using my Keyblade. And Cyphus," she turned to him and smiled. "I can only stay long enough to insure that this world is protected against the Darkness, but after that, you have a Keyblade, so you can come with me if you like."

 

Kyler was walking toward the edge. He hadn't found Cyphus in the castle so he must have gone there. When Kyler saw Cyphus with a group of people he wasn't surprised, Cyphus had a lot of friends. What startled him was that Cyphus and a girl he'd never seen were both holding giant keys. "Cyphus." he said "Whats going on?"

Cyphus turned in surprise. "Kyler this is Drew and Ric and Keiko. Guys," Cyphus turned to his new freinds, "This is my little brother Kyler. Kyler I was just heading home when I saw Keiko and Drew and Ric and we got to talking." Cyphus smiled down at Kyler, "You run home and tell mother that I'll be there in a minute."

Kyler frowned. "No. I'm staying here intel your done. And I'm not that much yonger then you, you know."

 

Ric looked at Kyler for a moment before again grunting his displeasure and turning away. Drew said "It's nice to meet you," while Keiko said "So you are Cyphus's brother?"

 

"Yes. But I'm only two years younger then he is." Kyler Scowled at Ric and then turned to Gexlin. "And who are you?"

 

Gexln sighed and shook his head. "Did you not hear me earlier? My name is Gexln" he said.

 

OOC: Alright, this is getting boring. Let's kick things up a notch!

IC: Suddenly several heartless materialized around them. "Not Here!" Keiko said, attacking the nearest one with her Keyblade. Ric let out a startled yell while Drew said "What the heck!?!"

 

Jumping down from a cliff higher up Matt jumped down summoning his keyblade and shot out a blast of darkness in the shape of a dragon and said " keep on your toes and stay out if my way or you'll regret it." said Matt as he started slashing heartless away.

 

Keiko continued to fight and Drew and Ric stood out of the way. suddenly a heartless jumped right at them and with a flash, it was gone. Ric looked at the Keyblade he held in his hand, currently glowing red like fire. He hadn't planned on getting one, it had just happened when he was in trouble. Drew was looking at him in surprise. "You have one too? Why didn't you tell me?" Ric looked at him. "I didn't know. Now are you just gonna sit around and let me do all the work?" Another heartless came up to attack and Drew looked at it uncertainly. "I don't think I can," he said. Ric rolled his eyes. "Then I guess you'll get hit, then." He walked away to fight and sure enough, Drew got hit. "Ouch!" He looked at the heartless, a stupid-looking little thing shaped like a giant ant with yellow eyes (He didn't yet know that it was called a shadow). He had always hated ants. The shadow moved in to attack again and this time, Drew was ready. Out of thin air a Keyblade appeared in his hand and he slashed the heartless with it. He looked at his blade. It appeared to be some kind of tree, almost. With a bronze handle cut to resemble a branch and tiny metal leaves that felt as well as looked green and growing, He felt he was holding the spirit of the woods. It made him feel peaceful. He smiled. He liked his Keyblade. "See, I told you!" Ric said, still fighting heartless. Ric was never one to turn down an I-told-you-so moment.

 

Matt activated his limit and starts rushing through enemies while transporting through dark corridors and poping out and slashing through enimes then back into the dark corridor and eventually all the enemies, " your not half bad but you don't fight fast and end it and that will get you killed." said Matt as he started walking away.

 

Taking the lead from the others Cyphus started slashing at heartless with his keyblade. He had obviosly practiced fighting and he was rather good. But Kyler just stood there and looked around shaking his head like he was in a bad dream and had to get out. Cyphus had to step in front of Kyler multipel times to portect him from the heartless. "Sorry!" Cyphus shouted to the others, "My brothers a little slow on the up take. Lets get out of here!"
