Kairi blinked in confusion. Love...? She shook her head. "I-I don't think I know you... Do I...?" She said, confused, and a bit worried. She remembered that this had happened before, and she didn't want it happening again...

Rikku walked over to Renji and leaned over to him, "renji, if you can hear me, she hit her head... she doesnt remember anything about what happened with you two...." she said,

Yachiru jumped of Kenpachis back and sat down, ready to watch

 

Renji was a little shocked by a touch and voice, he turned around to see Rikku, "Rikku....wait...how can you see me?" he said confused, "humans can't....." he stopped realizing the only way, "no....Rikku....don't tell me your....." he said shocked looking down then back at Kairi, "dear....its me Renji.....why don't you remember...did something to you?.....and something to Rikku?"....."

 

Rikku looked down, "it was the only way to save Sora, but now Orochimaru is using my body to hurt the others, and i feel awful about it...." she said, "oh, by the way, you might want to stop calling her 'dear' until she regains her memory

 

Kairi looked at Renji, still confused. How did he know her? And why did he keep calling her dear? "What's going on...?" She asked.

 

"I leave for a month or two.....and all this has to happen...." Renji said shaking his head, "you sacrifice yourself for Sora......Kairi for some reason doesn't remember me or the relationship we share......" he sighed, "and theres a monster attacking us...."

 

Kairi blinked as she started remembering a few things, little by little. She looked over at Renji, starting to realize who he was. Then, it suddenly clicked. "Renji!" She then ran up to him and embraced him tightly, glad that he was back.

"You dont know half the things I can do!" Orochimaru said as he put his hand on his shoulder and quickly healed himself/herself and quickly ran to attacked Breanna

"So you want to try and pick a fight with me?" The monster asked Zaraki while laughing and threw 10-20 bombs

 

Byakuya looked at Renji and Zaraki and took out his sword getting ready to attack the monster again

 

Rikku gasped, "stop!" she shouted and jumped into her old body, stuggling to make it stop, "S-Stay aw-ay fro...m her!" she said and grabbed her body's other hand to keep it from moving

Yachiru watched the fight with Kenpachi and the monster

 

"Kairi dear.....you remember me?" Renji said with utter joy returning her gentle embrace and spinning her around, he stopped and looked in her eyes, "I've missed you so much....." he smiled kissing her once and holding her close.

Captain Zaraki noticed a spirit in some sort of turmoil, "Renji....what is that....or who is that....." he said pointing his sword at Rikku, "and whose side?"

 

Kairi hugged him tight, full of joy at seeing him again. It felt to her like it'd been forever. "Renji, I'm so glad to see you!" She said and kissed him back. She'd actually started to think that something had happened to him...

 

"I'm here Kairi.....my joy.....my precious Kairi....." Renji smiled hugging her and gently rubbing her back, "I don't ever want to leave you like that again....I missed you so much....I missed being with the girl I love....."

 

Rikku struggled to move, she kept a tight hold on the other wrist,

Yachiru looked at the girl, "she looks scary!"

 

Kairi held on to him, not wanting to let go ever again. She'd missed being with him so much... "Renji... I thought something had happened to you... Where did you go...?" She asked. She then turned to look at Rikku's spirit, and then at Zaraki. "That's Rikku..." She said. "She's on our side..." She looked down. "She sacrificed herself for Sora, but now I think something's taken over her body..."

 

"The Soul Society....we had urgent news and things to do dealing with the betrayal of one of our members.....but not again.....even if I am exiled.....I won't leave you again Kairi...." Renji smiled continuing to hold her close, "I missed you so much too....I love you Kairi....."

"Hmmm I see....so thats why she could see us without any help....." Captain Zaraki said, "well as for you...." he said turning back to the monster, "I'm not going to give you the chance to even be a spirit....."

 

Kairi hugged him tightly. She understood. As long as he was alright, then Kairi would be happy. Kairi felt tears start to form in her eyes, although it wasn't because she was sad. these were tears of joy. "I love you too, Renji..." She said and gently kissed him.

 

Rikku growled, "KAIRI! IF YOU'RE DONE BEING LOVEY, DESTROY MY BODY!"

Yachiru tilted her head, "hm?"

 

Kairi turned towards Rikku. She shook her head. "I can't do that..." She said. "If I destroy your body, then that means you can never come back..."

 

Rikku was losing control, "i dont care! as long as Orochimaru isnt able to use my own body against you guys, then everything will be alright,"
