Gameboard???

I have been seeing this "gameboard" in the latest editions of Jump Vista. Is that how the game is going to be played? I hope not because I like how they did KH1 & 2 as a free roam. All we can do I guess is wait and see.

Are DA and Ven in...Roxas's room?

His name is Vanitas which is Latin and can be translated as "vanity", "emptiness", "nothingness", or "worthlessness".

Also a little bit of info: Xemnas' Final Limit in 358/2 Days is called All-Vanity. Hint to Vanitas being the Xehanort/Ansem/Xemnas that we know now?

The dude whos always fighting with Master Xeanort has the same outfit as Riku's Dark form from the first kingdom hearts. Only a different color.

The only way if that would be true is if Vanitas merges into Terra ever sense I finished 358/2 Days I am a supporter of Terra=Xemnas However I do agree though is a possibility of Vanitas of how I think is the most rediculous name for a villain could be a relative of Riku due to a part of his outfit is similar to Riku's in Dark Mode. Although The Scans do finally reveal Ventus and Sora do indeed have some relation sense a adult young Teenager Sora is next to a pic of Ventus as if their Son and father respectfully.

This is just my input on it.

Vanitas is probably Xehanort. That might explain who got found after keyblade war. Why Ansem(Xehanort's heartless) looks like his former Master. Why Riku resembles him when Ansem(Xehanort's heartless was in him). Why Soul Eater and Way to the Dawn resemble Vanitas' keyblade. I've kinda been thinking about this. In the FM+ secret trailer, Nomura descuised that with that thing he did with Vanitas. The way Vanitas appears out of Master Xehanort.

Yes i was. And maybe that's how it supposed to look. If it's about Nomura's story you can't be simple about that. Every little thing in his story might have meaning. I might be thinking out of the box, but it's still a possibilitie.

Lol, that Blood red armor and grim mask doesn't give me any clue that he's a potential Villain. Not at all...

Anywho, interesting scan. Glad we finally got a name and Confirmation that he can speak (And is not a puppet).

Vanitas could be Riku's Dad. Until we see his face/hair, it's a possibility. The Fuses with Terra theory could fall apart if the FM+ Trailer is canon because Terra's eyes turn Yellow even though Vanitas is on the mountain with MX.

I have a feeling that Vanitas could be either Master Xehanort's dark guardian (Like Xehanort's Heartless, "Ansem," had during the first fight against him in the fake destiny islands.

Or Vanitas could be another one of Xehanort's apprentices. Vanitas spelt backwards is Satinav. Satin. Satan. Scary. ROFL, buh it probably just refers to Vanity, like stated above. Like seriously, where does Nomura come up with these latins things??? I mean, the word Dissidia (Final Fantasy) came from the latin word, Dissidium, which means conflict.

Another thing is about the "command board" thing...is it just me, or does it look a whole lot like Dual Colleseum from Dissidia? With the little command cards and moving around and such...

But I just thought of something, remember the Samurai guy with the keyblade in the scan before this? Maybe he's related to Vanitas...heck, Vanitas looks young enough to be the samurai dude's son!

Me and a friend thinks that the samurai dude is just 'out of KH'. We think it is a horrible character. Just because it looks like it is from feudal Japan, not from the universe of KH.

Vanitas then again is a marvelous character! : )

If Vanitas is related to some of the characters, my guesses are that he and Ven are brothers. They seem the same age and it would make it more plausible that two brothers are being rivals.

Though Sora and Riku as friends were rivals, but it never went to any great lengths, if you think about it. Vanitas seems so dark.
