With the release of KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep in North America and Europe, fans from the series are gearing up, but will they get an exclusive with their game?

Well...that depends on the location of the fan. KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep is set for North America and Europe in September 2010.

Fans will be able to receive their copy of a collectors edition, which features 2x KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep artprints, hardback, and the 48-page artwork book entitled "The Art of KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep".

The Special Edition is being distributed into UK, France, Germany/Austria/Switzerland, Nordic countries, Benelux, Spain, Italy, Australia/New Zealand, Russia and Cyprus.

    So, what about North America?

Gamestop, Amazon and Best Buy have updated their pre-order page with the decal set, but fans are frustrated as they may not see this collectors edition in North America.

    We'll keep you guys posted.

If SE were doing it just for the money, they would've released the Collectors edition in America, only the MOST Highly Populated country of gamers in the World outside of Japan!

You could probably order it from Play-Asia if it does not come out in north america but it would not be in english. Hopefully it does come out for the US. I don't own a psp. I sold it because I hated it. Is it worth the buy?

If you import it from Australia, isn't it going to be in English?

last time i checked they spoke it...heh

True enough. They probably just didn't find it necessary to release it in the US for just that fact. The gaming populace in NA is so concentrated, all the copies of the regular edition here will outsell the normal and limited edition copies released elsewhere in the world by several times. So a US release would actually cost them more then they would gain back. But a moral obligation to a few select countries? Nah. SE has so much money, they could have made BBS a Japan exclusive and it wouldn't have hurt them in the least.

I like to have faith in human nature. They may release a statement about why NA isn't getting it.

That is where we differ, friend. But I am content to agree to disagree. Either way, I will have the game that I have wanted ever since I saw the secret ending online for FM2+, as will you. Would it be nice to have artwork? Sure. But can I continue on and enjoy the game just as much without it? Definitely. Enjoy the Limited Edition. I will enjoy what's on my end, even if it doesn't include a book and pretty packaging. Peace.

I hope we get the collectors edition . It would suck it we didn't but im sure if theres enough of a response about us wanting one, we'll get it ! If they don't they should at least give us some neat posters with the release . I want a poster !

Gee... as long as we're getting the GAME itself, the collectors edition will just be something extra to appreciate, for me at least. If we too were excluded, as many times before, I wouldn't bother for too much of a long time. But I certainly understand the feeling.

Wow! Once again Americans complain about not getting one thing in a series. New huh?

      ^This

I just hope that this edition will eventually make it to Greece as well even if it is late as usual.

Get one. I know it's hard with the economy and all but i'm gonna get one as well just for BBS.

I don't like how you said it, but you sort of have a point. I think this collector's Edition is to make up for lack of PAL porting for RE:COM.

      It's only some artwork too!

Did the Europians and Antipodeans complain this much when we didn't get Re:CoM? No, we didn't ... it's close but we didn't.

All I care about is the game. I pre-ordered 358/2 Days and got Re:CoM around the time that it was released and got some neat postcards with artwork on them and thought that they were cute extras, but I wasn't freaking out. In fact, I'm honestly disappointed in Re:CoM. It has voice acting, 3D graphics...and that's it.

Anyway, I've been psyched about BBS ever since the first bits of information about it came out. I have a feeling that it's going to be a real promising game.

The only piece of merchandise that I will complain about is the 3rd volume of the Kingdom Hearts II manga. Apparently, according to the internet Tokyopop has decided to not even release it. :/

      Amen!

We missed a game, even if it was just a 3d remake as some people here say, heck i'd love to see Marluxia in 3D- you miss some artwork. See the difference? And it's not even the whole Europe. Just selected countries.
