Aerith shook, feeling Kuja's body against her own.

 

Cyrus narrowed his eyes.

"I'll make sure your death is all the more painful."

 

Aerith gripped her staff.

 

Cyrus motioned for Aerith to stand down.

 

Aerith lowered her staff.

 

"Today is not the day we'll fight. You'll meet your end in five days, Kuro." Cyrus said before teleporting everyone back to the castle, leaving Kuro alone in the forest.

 

Kuro laughed and walked away "the kid sure acts tough" Kuro said

 

Cyrus sat down, contemplating how he and Ryo would beat Kuro.

 

Zelker appeared beside Zephyr

 

Hikari sat on her bed, wishing there was a way to stop Kuro.

 

"In five days, Ryo and I should be strong enough to handle Kuro."

 

"You sure mother can't help you two?"

 

Zelker looked at Zephyr wondering what she was thinking

Ryo sat ontop of the roof with Freya in his lap

 

"Ryo and I will be enough. We can't fail, because if we do, there's no hope for any of us."

 

"I see. I don't want be performing Ryo's sending as much as yours."

 

Ryo looked out ahead as he held Freya in his lap

 

"Daddy, are you and uncle Cyrus going to be okay when you fight the evil god?"

 

"I don't know" Ryo said

 

"I hope you put him in his place, daddy. I don't want to see that guy kill you again."

 

Ryo held her tightly "Don't worry I will try to beat him and come back" Ryo said
