Versago took out a sword and jumped forward but was blocked by Shen "oh well if it isn't my brother. whats wrong? why won't you show your face? are you hiding it from them?" Versago said

 

Kyo smiled at the appearance of Shen. "They know this is me, so how about showing your face to your ex-wife?"

 

Versago pushed Shen away and Shen looked at Kyo "for the full year I worked with you I never showed you this" Shen said and faced Hikari and others and took of his hood. He looked almost identical to Versago

 

Hikari gasped at Shen's appearance. The man she married and knew seem to had vanished.

 

"How did that happen?!"

 

Versago laughed

"I fought Versago when he invaded the castle. He forced me to use as much of darkness I had and this is what happened" Shen said looking at his hands hating what happened to himself and closed his eyes

 

The machine began to overload, Kyo was about to turn to it, but Hikari pushed him out of the way. They both got hit by a spark of magic from a transparent image of a man.

 

Shen looked at the image of the man

 

"Who in the world is that?"

"That's Ansem."

 

Aerith stared at the image of Ansem, but he looked toward Hikari. Kyo looked up and stared at the others. Hikari smiled, he regained his original appearance, with a blindfold over his eyes.

 

Shen looked at Ansem and then at Kyo regaining his former self

Versago smiled "so what a unexpected surprise" Versago said

 

Michael was somewhat confused by what was going on.

 

"Grandfather, you've returned to normal!" Aerith smiled and hugged him, Kyo hugged her back.

 

Just then Versago shot beam that headed straight at Kyo and Aerith but Shen stood infont of Kyo and took the hit

 

"Shen!" Hikari shouted, and ran to him.

 

Shen layed there "i-is everybody alright?" Shen said

 

"Shen, we're fine. But how about you?" Kyo removed his blindfold and stared at his companion for the past year. Hikari cried, kneeling beside her former husband.

 

"I-I think my time is up" Shen said looking at his former wife with a smile. His appearance was turning back to normal

Versago was surprised as what he saw and held his head. He quickly teleported away

 

Hikari touched the ground to pick up Shen's wedding ring and cried. Kyo sighed and touched her shoulder.

 

"you guys have to be strong and beat Versago" Shen said and looked at Micheal "its been nice knowing that I was your cousin" Shen said as he layed there
