Youske walked to Ryo and clung to his leg.

Cyrus tried to block the meteor and send it back at the emperor.

 

Miko flew back to Aerith and Cyrus and put her swords back.

 

The meteor was an extreame size and it just wouldn't stop

The emperor laughed

 

Cyrus managed to divert the meteor away from them and fell to the ground.

Lucrecia set Zell back down to see if he would walk to her.

 

Aerith panicked and couldn't think of a spell to use.

 

Dispite the efforts the meteror would not stop. They need something like a summon to stop it

 

Cyrus struggled to get back up.

"Come to mommy, Zell."

 

Aerith summoned Valefor to try and stop the meteor.

 

The meteor began to slow down but one summon wasn't enough

 

Aerith summoned Shiva, Ifirt, Ramuh, and Anima.

 

The meteor stoped but exploded the moment it did destroying the summons

 

Aerith fell to the ground, all of her summons returning to her.

 

Cyrus helped her up, supporting them with his sword.

 

"hmph most impressive" the emperor said walking up to them

Ryo picked up Youske and smiled "good job" Ryo said

Zell tried to walk to his mother once more

 

Cyrus glared at the emperor.

"You're almost there, Zell, just a few more steps."

 

"looks like Ryo isn't around with you this time. I wanted to get my revenge against the both of you" the emperor said

Zell continued and hugged his mothers foot

 

Lucrecia smiled and picked Zell up.

"You can walk now. You're growing up too fast for me."

"We don't need him here. I could easily beat you."

 

The emperor laughed when he heard that

 

Cyrus set Aerith down and tapped into his godly essence. His wings began to change from a pale color to silver and his armor turned gold.

Lucrecia set Zell down and started playing with him.

 

"oh? so the worm has tapped into the powers of the gods themself" The emperor said
