Kulex walked in an looked at Anna, "is she ok.....just fell asleep?" he asked looking at Brexecca, "and how did your driver's test go?" he smiled.

 

"She's fine..." Brexecca whispered and smiled. "And I am glad to say that I passed it!" she jumped out of her chair, but suppressed a squeal of joy so she didn't wake Anna up.

That's great!" Abexecca whispered and smiled.

 

Kulex smiled, "excellent.....so your road legal now....." he grinned, "so do you have a car picked out?"

 

Brexecca looked at Kulex. "Not yet... I'm going to get my picture taken for my license tommorrow... and then I'll go to pick out a car."

 

"Thats great....." Kulex smiled before looking down at Anna, "I wish we could say things are going great for her.....perhaps if I absorbed her pain....." he said thinking.

 

Abexecca closed her eyes and felt Anna's forehead. "She has no pain..." she said and opened her eyes. "She's just exhausted... it's strange... she has absolutely no energy in her..." she closed her eyes and felt her forehead again.

Brexecca looked at Anna worridley. "That's not possible..." she mumbled thoughtfully.

 

Kulex sighed, "let me guess the demon?" he said, "I don't think we ever did technically get rid of it for good....or did your light take care of that Abexecca?"

 

"It's not the demon..." she said softly. "He isn't gone, of couse... but I know that the demon didn't do this... it was a person... a human..." she kept her hand on Anna's forhead with her eyes closed.

Hikari wrapped around Abexecca's arm and purred (yes, light can purr... lol ^^)

Brexecca thought for a moment.

Anna seemed to flinch a bit, but then rested soundly again.

 

Kulex remembered what Anna had said, "I have to go...." he said walking out and heading down the hall, "I'll find out who did this.....and they will die...." he said walking outside.

 

Just as Kulex left, a white portal suddenly appeared in the corner of Anna's room and a man dressed in a white coat stepped out. The coat had a hood, which was up, covering his face. "Sorry..." he said and smirked. "I seem to have forgotten to take what I had come for last time..."

Hikari hissed.

"Who are you?" Abexecca asked and her eyes suddenly widened. "You hurt Anna..." she said.

"Bingo..." the man said and grinned. "Now get out of my way.

Abexecca blocked Anna from the man. "No..." she said sternly, Hikari right beside her.

The man scoffed. "I have no time for this..." he said and put his hand out, a gust of wind blowing at Abexecca.

Abexecca screamed as the wind slammed her against the wall. She fell to the ground unconcious.

"Abexecca!" Brexecca screamed.

Hikari whined and swirled around Abexecca sadly.

 

Kulex looked around, "but how will I find him.....could Mark?" he said thinking, "he probably could....but lets see if I can handle this by myself...." he said continuing walking.

 

Abexecca lay on the floor, her black hair covering most of her face, stained with blood.

Brexecca clenched her fists and turned to the man. "You will pay..." she said and took out her pocket knife. She slashed at him with it.

The man easily dodged the slashes and appeared behind Brexecca. "You bore me..." he said and struck her in the side.

"Nyng..." Brexecca made a small sound as she fell to her kenees, clutching her side. She telepathically called Kulex. "Kulex! We need you in the infirmary! The guy is-" she couldn't finish her message as the guy came up behind her and struck her on a pressure point causing her to pass out.

Anna was still asleep in the bed.

The man smirked and walked towards Anna's bed. "Now I can get you..." he said.

 

Kulex portaled in near the man, "I don't think so...." he said elbowing the man into the wall, "I don't know what you have done to my friends....but your going to pay...." he said his eyes dark.

 

The man was caught a bit off guard by Kulex. He smirked. "So... what are you... their boyfriend?" He smiled and extended his hand, shooting a gust of wind at him. "I can do whatever I want... but if you don't get out of my way... you will die..."

Brexecca was still a little bit concious and looked up at them from the floor.

Anna was still passed out.

Abexecca was lying on the floor, her head still bleeding.

Hikari flew around Abexecca frantically, unsure of what to do.

 

"More along the lines of a close friend...." Kulex said conjuring his two handed sword, "you think I fear death....." he grinned, "your mistaken....."

 

"Kulex... no..." Brexecca muttered before passing out.

The man smirked at Kulex. "Well aren't you a smart one..." he said and materialized two long swords out of thin air. "Just try and see if you can even land a scratch on me..." he said and slashed one of his swords at Kulex.

Hikari became enraged and tried to attack to man.

The man smiled.

Hikari continued to attack, but soon fell to the floor. She made a small sound and disappeared.

 

Kulex smiled, "don't worry....I said I would find the person who did this to Anna....and that he would die...." he said slashing at the man, "and thats what is going to happen...."

 

The man dodged his attack. "I don't have time for this..." he said and pointed his long sword at Abexecca's neck. "Let me through or she dies..." he said, smirking.

 

Kulex knocked the man's sword away from Abexecca and stood infront of her, "and what are you planning to do?" he said, "and if I refuse?"

 

The man smirked and pointed his sword at Kulex. "I can't tell you what I'm going to do... but I can tell you that there will be dire consequences if you refuse... and I will still leave with miss Anna..." he slashed his sword at Kulex and jumped back, next to Anna's bed. Smirking, he picked her up in his arms. "That was easy..." he said and laughed as a portal appeared behind him.
