Kingdom Hearts' All-girls School...or not

"I believe you....." Mark said trying to comfort her, "I'm sorry....if anything happens I'm with you...." he smiled hugging her, "its ok to cry....cry as much as you want I don't care....as long as it helps you feel better Abexecca...."

 

Abexecca continued to cry. "I'm too young to go to jail... And here's the worst part..." Abexecca explained. "I'm suppossed to get picked up by the police in 1 hour to go to trial! What am I suppossed to do?!..." Abexecca burrowed her face into his chest and cried even harder. "I don't even have a lawyer..." she said with tears streaming down her face. "How am I suppossed to go on trial without a lawyer?! I'm done for..." she continued to cry.

 

"No....your not....." Mark said holding her close, "we will find out whats going on....and we will help you...." he looked at Anna, "right?"

 

"Right," Anna said as she smiled at Abexecca.

Abexecca sighed and leaned close to Mark. "I hope you're right..." she said as she wiped her eyes. "What do I do first...?"

 

"First try to calm down as best you can..." Mark smiled gently rubbing her back and shoulders, "now why would your mother say something like that?" he asked.

 

"Because the police called her and told her that I was being accussed of Murder, so she called me." Abexecca explained. "She wanted to know if I did it... even my own mother doesn't trust me..." Abexecca sighed.

 

"Well you have a family here...." Mark smiled hugging her, "now....do you know of anyone who would do this?....try to set you up?" he asked.

 

"No, not really..." Abexecca said. "I never really interacted with people very much..."

Anna had closed her eyes and was listening intently.

 

"Well if you didn't do it.....it means someone else did....." Mark said thinking, "hmm....any ideas Anna?"

 

Anna kept her eyes closed and continued thinking.
She suddenly opened her eyes. "Did anything happen in your childhood that might lead people to think this?" Anna asked.

Abexecca froze.

 

Mark noticed she had spoken after Anna's comment, "Abexecca?" he said looking her in the eyes, "are you ok?" he said worried.

 

Abexecca looked down. "Yes..." she said. "I was only 3 years old at the time... My father... had been killed one night while I was sleeping. I was pretty sad as a child, but my mom wasn't. She had a new boyfriend almost every year. I hated them all... i mosly hated my mom for trying to replace my father... but now I know this is how he would want it to be..." A tear rolled down her face. "But all of my mom's boyfriends keep strangely disappearing... and all of the kids at school spread a rumor about me killing them because I hated them... but it was only a rumor...right?" Tears were now rolling down her cheeks and falling on the floor.

"I see..." Anna said.

 

"Abexecca....." Mark smiled holding her, "your a nice beautiful girl.....I don't think you would do something like that....." he said giving her a gentle squeeze, "and once I find out who really did it.....they better run....." he said growing tense. "They will not lie and hurt you like this without paying....."

 

Abexecca worridely looked up at Mark with tears still streaming down her cheeks. "You wouldn't hurt them, would you?"

 

Mark looked at her, "it depends on who they were.....and why they did it...." he said but then smiled at her, "but even with that I probably wouldn't do anything....I'm not that kind of person...." he sighed.

 

Abexecca stopped crying and wiped her eyes. She took 3 deep breaths before she smiled. "And that's a good thing!" she said to Mark. "Fighting is really wrong... I feel kind of bad for hurting the demon... but i couldn't control the light."

 

"I'm glad you hurt him...." Mark said, "he was hurting Anna....and you.....and thats something I will fight to stop.....no matter the risk......" he smiled hugging her.

 

Abexecca jumped up from the bed. "It's never a good thing to hurt someone!" she shouted. "I will probably never get over that..."

Anna closed her eyes again and started to think.

 

"I'm sorry Abexecca.....but I care about you two more than you know....and I will fight for your safety.....even if its life threatening...." Mark smiled, "you both are precious to me....."

 

"It's still not right to hurt others," she said. "Even to protect a dear friend. You can defend yourself... but to hurt the other person is pointless..." Abexecca said.

Anna sighed.
