"um.....okay?" He thought to himself as he followed her confused as to what she as doing

 

She weaved through the hallways, turning left and then right and then left and then right.... She had no idea where she was going. She suddenly stopped walking as she got to a door, and she tilted her head. It was a tall, black door with some kind of scripture carved into it, but she couldn't seem to read it. She squinted her eyes and tried blowing away the dust on the words.

 

"Where.....are we?" He asked her as he looked around confused then noticed the scripture on the door and looked at it curiously

 

She tilted her head. "Beyond this door lies you destiny... Either your future... or your fate..." She recited from the scripture on the door. She took a step back and rubbed the back of her head. "Hmm... I wonder what that could mean..." She thought aloud and turned to face him. "I have no idea where we are..." She said. "Something just told me to come here..." She looked down at the small stone in her hand.

 

".....will the door open?" He asked curiously as he took a step towards it.

 

She looked back at the door. "I dunno..." She said and walked up to it. Gently, she grasped the handle and twisted it. When she heard a click, her eyes widened and she slowly opened the door, peering inside. There was a dimly lit staircase that spiraled down. She couldn't see what was at the end.

 

*Fayte stood behind her and looked through the door curiously*
"Wow that's unexpected.....wanna check it out?" He asked her curiosly

 

She shrugged. "Sure..." She said. "Maybe we'll find something down here that can help..." She smiled.

 

"Yeah" He replied happily as he walked through the door and suddenly started running through the stairs

She ran down the stairs after him, looking around the small stairway curiously.

 

A bit later he stopped as he reached the bottom of the stairs*
"Well that was fun" He muttered as he rubbed his eyes tiredley.

 

She reached the bottom with him and looked around. "I can't see anything..." She said and fumbled around for the light switch and flicked it on when she found it. She squinted at the sudden burst of light from a lamp on the ceiling and then she observed the room. There was a huge fountain in the middle of the room that seemed to have some sort of platform with odd symbols on it. There were huge bookshelves lining the walls of the room and in one corner there was a table with a few chairs. The books all seemed to be really dusty and there were a few books open on the table. "Wow... what is this place...?" She wondered aloud as she scanned the room, her eyes adjusting to the light.

 

"Looks like a library, but it looks like it hasn't been used in ages.....I weonder who used it." He told her as he glanced around curiously.

 

"Hmm... Maybe the doctors did...?" She suggested. "For reasearch?" She walked over to the table and blew on the books. She quickly jumped back and coughed when a bit of dust blew in her face. Then she walked back up to the table and flipped through the book. "It looks like medical stuff..." She said. "But I can't really tell..." She looked up and noticed some writing on the fountain. "What's this...?" She said and walked over to it.

 

"More writing....?" Fayte thoughht to himself with a sigh as he followed her to the fountain.
"One last kiss...before I go" He whisteled softly to himself.

 

She stared at the writing.
"If you wish to save your loved one,
then you need a special item...
It's found inside of humans
who have hearts as hard as stone,
it's filled with love and sadness
and many other feelings.
This item is in the form of a rock,
so if you can find it,
Place it in the hole within the fountain,
And you shall live on..."
She recited and scratched her head. "What's that supossed to mean...?" She thought aloud and stared at the writing.

 

"The stone I gave to you. It was all that was left when....Abexecca faded...." He told her suddenly becoming silent as he looked down at the ground.

 

She looked over at him and then looked at the stone. The stone... Something suddenly clicked in her mind. The hole within the fountain... She looked around the fountain for a hole. When she found a hole, she saw that there was a symbol above it. She looked at the stone. A smile spread across her face when she saw that it had the same symbol. Could this be it...? She thought.

 

*Fayte glanced at the stone for a moment then at the whole which seemed to be the right size for the rock to fit into*
"Lets put it in then" He told her excitedley a moment later

 

The girl looked at the hole worridley and took a deep breath. Even though I'm a nobody... I still feel scared... odd... She thought and carefully pushed the stone into the hole, covering it with both hands. She let out a yell as she fell backwards, her body starting to glow a bit. She opened her eyes and looked up. She felt her body starting to pixelate, and she closed her eyes as she soon disappeared into the air. However, the fountain was glowing now.
