"..Do you kiss any man your not with?..''Kite asked coldly

 

Yumiko shook her head, ashamed. "No... I wish I never did." She looked up at Kite and smiled a bit. "But I kissed you because, well, I like you... A lot."

 

Kite shook his head"..I wont kiss you anymore..you need to assure me you wont kiss anyone else again..''he said.

 

Yumiko sighed, but nodded. "I won't kiss anyone." She yawned and closed her eyes. "Will you kiss anyone....?"

 

"...Your not taking this very seriously...sober again?''Kite asked irritably,getting sick of that same attitude of hers.

 

Smiling, Yumiko nodded. "Yeah... But I like not caring about anything.... I like living in the moment.... Isn't that how you live, Kite?"

 

Kite rolled his eyes and looked the opposite way"..only at the appropriate time..''he said.

 

Yumiko looked at Kite, confused. "Hey... I'm sorry. I should be acting more respectable." She smiled and said, "What can I do to show you that I care?"

 

"..How about you figure that out yourself..''Kite said,he got up and began walking toward's the school entrance.

 

Yumiko stood up and watched Kite walk out. She didn't move towards him, or tried to talk to him, she felt it wasn't worth it. She leaned against the wall and thought about what had just happened.

 

"..Oh come on Shino!"Haseo shouted as he jumped left and right,barely avoiding her attacks.
" Dont 'oh come on Shino' me!im not letting you get away with making me a child!"Shino shouted back,she didnt let up her constant attack.

Kite was watching them from inside,and was also wondering if he was too hard on Yumiko.

 

Yumiko walked in circles, her head facing downwards. She pressed the tips of her fingers together, thinking about what Kite had said. She was disappointed that she hadn't figure it out. She was also trying to find out why she always ended up hurting inside when Kite left. She didn't want to be alone... But she didn't want to hurt anyone.

 

Kite decided to go take a nap or something...he was pretty much bored with shino and Haseo's silbing battle,and wanted to listen to some music anyway,and his room was right next to the lounge.Turning around,he began walking back to his room,and also wondered if Yumiko figured anything out.

 

"Damnit....Damnit...Damnit..." Yumiko muttered. She was banging her head against the wall, annoyed. She didn't know why she cared, but she did. "What can I do... To show Kite I care?" She contiued to bang her head. "I could... Buy him a country...? No, I could buy him a planet!... Agh.. But I've been cut off... I have to work.... I could say I care and mean it.... But... I'm not one to really talk about how I feel...."

 

Kite saw Yumiko banging her head and was pondering whether to ignore her and pass,or to stop her...he was too much of a nice guy to let her keep going."..Cut that out..is it really that hard to figure out?''he asked,approaching her.

 

Yumiko glared at him and nodded. "I think I have it... But I probably don't... So will you tell me how I can show you that I care?" She wanted to know so she could make things right. She wanted to understand.

 

Kite sighed"..What do you do when you want someone to truly believe you...but they cant..?''he asked.

 

Yumiko shrugged. "Get on your knees and beg?" She guessed. "Or prove it to them..."

 

Kite rubbed his temples"..Say..or Do..something that comes from your heart..''he said.

 

"Oh...." Yumiko mumbled. "I should have knew that." She thought for moment. "Something from the heart....? This may take awhile."
