Damn......so....close......only....10 feet.....away......okay....act natural."Nothing. I'm just tired all of a sudden. Why? You're not going to let me sleep?"

 

Anna shook her head. "No... You just seemed like you weren't well... I... um... Just wanted to make sure you were okay..."

"Alright," Abexecca said and smiled, following him. She tried to think of something they could do.

Brexecca didn't let go. "Listen, Leah..." She said softly. "I know you're upset, but it'll be okay... I promise..." She smiled. "See? You're not hurting me right now... So you couldn't possibly be bad... And we need your help, since you have the only experience with vampires... And Mark needs you... He'll be fine, and you'll get to be with him in a few days... think about it. He'll ba a vampire like you... You two will be able to be together forever..." She said and smiled.

Leah turned to look at Brexecca. "I-I don't know..." She whispered and bit her lip. It's just a few days... And then he'll be fine... But they need me to help right now... I don't know if I can handle seeing him like that, though... She thought and sighed. "No..." She muttered to herself. "I can handle it..." She hugged Brexecca softly, smiling. "Thank you..." She whispered and headed back to the dorm with her.

Brexecca smiled and lead her by the hand back to the dorm. "Just relax..." She said softly. "It won't be like this for much longer..." She said and walked in the dorm with Leah.

 

"Heh....you worry too much, Anna.....I'm perfectly fine. Just tired." She's a sharp one. Too bad you won't see her again.

 

Mark yelled out again, the pain causing him to exhaust extreme amounts of energy and strength that Kulex had never known Mark to have.

Kulex sighed wincing everytime he felt the whole room move with his rattling around inside the dome, "you better not change too much Mark...you still have all these people you care about here..." he said looking up at the ceiling and leaning back.

 

"Hmm..what would be something fun to do.." Fayte thought to himself deep in thought as he wlked through the halls getting nearer to the front entrance.

"Woah..it sure is big.." Nero thought to himself with a sigh as he glanced around the entryway.

 

After a silence Andrew continued heading for the door."Well....see you tomorrow, Anna." He opened the door and then closed it.

 

Leah heard what Kulex said and hesitated going in. He doesn't want Mark to change, either... I wish I could say that he wouldn't... He'll still be Mark, but he won't look the same at all... She thought and walked in. She looked over at Mark, seeing that he had gotten much worse. Wincing a bit, she walked over to him, looked back at Kulex. "I think I have an idea of what might calm him down... Kulex, do you think you can make a small hole big enough to fit my hand through...?" She asked, looking back at Mark.

Brexecca watched Leah, curious. What does she have in mind...? She wondered, surprised at Mark.

"Ah... Okay then..." Anna said softly and rubbed the back of her head. "Well I'll let you get some sleep then..." She turned and walked away, sort of awkwardly.

Abexecca sighed, unable to think of anything. (Sorry, I'm kind of out of ideas for them... ^^')

 

As soon as the door closed Andrew struggled to calmly dress in some comfortable clothes and do normal routine for sleep. Sleep for 20 minutes then pack.

 

Kulex looked at her surprised, "you are going to stick your hand in there with him...." he said quietly, "I'm not sure if its safe....but ok...." he said making a small enough opening for her hand.

Mark yelled again tossing and turning.

 

Andrew decided to screw sleeping and started packing. I can just pack it all in the big suitcase and then carry it in a ball of darkness shrinking it. Andrew started packing.

 

Leah smiled sadly at Kulex. "Trust me... The last thing you need to worry about is me getting hurt..." She said softly and carefully put her hand through the opening and grasped Mark's hand, firmly. She closed her eyes and relaxed, letting every muscle in her body relax. Then she tried to send the calm energy from her body and through her hand into his body, hoping that it would help to calm him and keep his muscles from spasming. She sent waves through her hand and to his body so that they could "talk" to each other in a way. "Mark...?" She said to him, softly. She hoped that Mark could hear what she said, but to everyone else it would sound somewhat like a soft whistle, if they could hear it at all.

Brexecca watched, ready to help if anything happened.

Anna headed back to the dorm where they were. She decided not to interupt and watched silently, instead.

 

Andrew had packed everything in his possesion...which...wasn't that much. The dorm looked normal like it was unused and Andrew was about to plan which way to escape when he realized something. Anna still has my SP and game..... He got out some paper and a pencil and began writing. Dear Anna......I realize that you still have my SP. I am allowing you to have it. Please take good care of it as well the game. I hope you try to enjoy video games again. See you. Andrew left it on his now made bed and decided going out into the hall would be more noticeable then out the window. I don't really like heights.... Andrew opened the window and took out the screen. He crawled over the side and held his breath. Then he let go.

 

Mark's body seemed to stop convulsing and relaxed as his hand held hers, in his unconcious state he heard a voice through the darkness, "L-Leah...?" he answered back softly, "Leah...I love you...I promise I will endure this until the end...so we can be together...."

Kulex watched, Mark seeming to have calmed down, "hmm...it seems like it would be better to have you here rather than myself now..." he smiled softly, he gently hugged Brexecca close to him and kissed her head lightly.

 

Leah smiled softly, a tear falling down her cheek, but she did not open her eyes. "Yeah, it's me, Mark... It's okay... You'll be okay... I'm going to be here with you the whole time... I won't leave your side, Mark..." She told him. "I love you, too... I'll do anything I can to help, Mark... Has the pain eased down, some?" She asked, not moving even a little bit from where she was.

Brexecca sighed in relief when she saw Mark calm down some, and she hugged Kulex, gently. "I think she's talking to him..." brexecca whispered to Kulex and smiled, gently kissing his cheek. "I love you..." She said softly.

Anna had a strange feeling... Like something bad was going to happen. "I'll be right back..."S he said and smiled, walking out of the dorm. She walked around the campus, looking around her.

 

Andrew tried so hard not to yelp as he softened his fall by blasting out darkness from his body allowing him to land softly on the ground. Oh my god.....wow......just....wow.....what an adrenaline rush! He then focused on everything around him using his darkness. .....nothing seems wrong...but I better get going...fast... He took off for the road.

 

"It has....at first I didn't know what to think....that an angel had come to ease my suffering..." Mark said as a smile formed on his lips, "and I knew...I knew that angel was you Leah...the angel I love with all my heart..." he said giving her hand a little squeeze.

Kulex smiled kissing her forehead, "I love you too precious...." he smield caressing her cheek lightly before turning back to Mark and Leah, "hmm...I see...."

 

It's too bad I don't know the number for the taxi company.... Andrew had run pretty far and now he was just walking in the forest not too far a distance from the road.

 

Leah was surprised when he suddenly gripped her hand tighter, and she gasped as her eyes shot open. She quickly realized that the stream of energy had cut off and she made herself relax again, rebuilding the energy flow. "S-Sorry... You startled me..." She said to him, still surprised. "I didn't expect you to be able to move..." She smiled softly. "You're strong, Mark..." This time, Leah kept her eyes open. "I wish I could speed up the process... Take away your pain..." She said to him. Even though she knew how to make it a little faster so that he wouldn't have to be like this for much longer, it would triple the pain for him during the remaining time... She bit her lip, thinking.

Brexecca smiled, hugging Kulex close as she watched Leah and Mark. She had been so busy for a while that she had forgotten about her stomach flu until now. She felt lightheaded and a little sick, but she didn't want to leave, so she just sat on a nearby chair.

Anna spotted Andrew running. I thought he was sleeping...? She thought and silently followed after him.

 

As he walked Andrew grew increasingly aware of a familiar scent. Crap....Anna......come on..... Andrew realized she was a distance behind and created an illusion of him still walking in the forest while he hid behind a tree in its shadow concealed by darkness.

 

Through their connection Mark could tell what she was thinking, "Leah...whichever in your opinion would be better dear...." he said softly, "its ok which ever one I have to endure...as long as its for you I know I can make it through it...." he said giving her hand another gentle squeeze.

Kulex walked over to Brexecca in the chair and started to softly massage her shoulders, "I think everything is going to be ok dear..." he smiled softly kissing her head, "do you need your medicine precious?" he asked.
