Mark sighed, he couldn't help but smile, he looked up into her eyes and gently touched her cheek, "everyone is beautiful in their own way..." he said softly. "So what if you are a vampire...I am a nobody...probably wouldn't have guessed it by my name though..." he said sitting down. "The reason behind that...I wanted to hide my identity as a nobody...afraid no one would accept me..." he said looking up with a smile, "so...I don't want you to have to go through that Leah..." He gently took her hands in his, "if that is what it takes to take care of you....then please...bite me too...."

 

Leah pulled away from him quickly at his last statement and stepped back a bit. "Mark, no... I'm not going to ruin your life like that..." She bit her lip. "How can you feel this strongly when we only just met...? And besides, I'm somewhat of a new vampire... I can't control myself. If I were to bite you, I'd end up sucking you dry..."

 

Mark shook his head, "too many people I have cared about...and I couldn't help.." he said once again taking her hand, "I won't let it happen again...." he said looking into her eyes softly before looking down. "Because...you are just like me..."

 

Leah sighed and sat down on the ground a couple feet away from Mark. "Just like you...?" She said, confused. "Mark, I can assure you now, that you can hardly see half of the things about me... You have it better off as a nobody rather than a vampire, trust me..." She said softly and smiled. "Especially considering I'm a vampire who just broke the law..."

 

Mark sighed and shook his head, "then it seems we have quite a bit to learn about each other then...." he said smiling before letting his fall a little, "maybe so...maybe not...but thats the question I am asking...." He looked up at her, "maybe in time I can take care of you..." he said scooting a little closer before stopping and sighing. He stood up and brushed himself off, "I don't care if you are a vampire...that doesn't change what I think about you Leah..." he said softly kissing her cheek before heading inside the school.

 

Leah hissed and jumped up when he kissed her cheek, but sighed in relief as he walked back in the school. She shook her head, leaning against the entrance. I wish he could understand... If I stay here, I'll only end up hurting him... And now that he knows about me being a vampire, I'll be in huge trouble, and that would probably endanger him, too... The burning that's always in your throat... the way people are always afraid of you because your skin is ice cold and you stay away from everyone... He couldn't possibly understand what that feels like... Could he? She thought and sighed.

 

OOC: Probably my last post for the night, sorry Destiny *hugs* good night and sweet dreams.

BIC: Mark thought on the way to his dorm, he smiled and shook his head, "perhaps she doesn't know how much I have been through...what I have had to endure...." he said shaking off the feeling, "no one does...not even my parents...no one can know what I have been through...." He sighed opening his dorm and laying down on the bed, "perhaps its just one more thing that makes us alike Leah....I will show you...you aren't alone..." he said quietly before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Leah sighed and ran off in the school. Suddenly, she stopped running and decided to walk. She soon arrived back at the dorms and walked to the one where she was staying. She silently opened the door inside and smiled when she saw Kulex and Brexecca both fast asleep. Just as quietly, she left, closing the door behind her as she headed towards Mark and Kulex's dorm. She looked through the window and smiled, seeing Mark was fast asleep. She sat on the branch of a tree just outside the window and watched him sleep peacefully. He looks so much happier when he's asleep... She thought and watched him sleep, waiting for morning to come.

 

"B-But..we were never whent to Subway..or..did we?" He thought to himself as he slowly tried to peice together his memeories from yesterday night but all that came back was the ride to Subway.
"..What happened yesterday. Why were the cops chasing us?" He asked her worridley as he glanced up at her face.

 

"Heh...I didn't want to make it noticeable....." By this time, Andrew was almost recovered. Maybe those tips did work. I'll have to keep that in mind....

 

"Leah...please....let me take care of you...I don't want to lose you..." Mark softly uttered in his sleep, "I don't want what happened....to make us grow farther apart...." he uttered again before waking up suddenly. He sat up quickly and held his head in his hands, remembering what happened last night, "I don't care what happens...I don't care if she is a vampire...I'm a nobody...one with a bad past too...." he sighed.

Kulex slowly woke up giving a soft yawn, "good morning precious..." he smiled squinting and rubbing Brexecca's cheek, "see...I promised I would sleep this time..." he laughed gently hugging her close.

 

Leah heard what he said and stared through the window sadly at him. He likes me this much because we're similar... I don't get it... She sighed. Maybe it'd be best if I go... I can tell that I'm not tame enough to control myself yet, but still... It might hurt him if I leave... And I want to know why he's so DIFFERENT than everybody else... Why his scent is stronger... She bit her lip. If I hurt him, I'll never forgive myself... I have to keep control for now... She thought and lightly tapped on his window to get his attention. A smile broke out across her face.

Brexecca was still asleep, holding on to Kulex tightly. She smiled, sleeping peacefully.

Abexecca sighed. "We did go to Subway..." She said. "Y-Your 'other half' took over while you were in the bathroom... He attacked and killed one of the people at the restraunt A-And... I think it was caught on tape..." She bit her lip. A look of fear was on her face as she remembered what had happened.

Well it seems pretty noticable now..." She said and grinned, giggling a bit. "Do you want to try again?" She asked. "I could run beside you or something to show you how it's done, if that helps..."

 

Mark was slightly surprised to hear a tap on his window, he turned seeing Leah with her beautiful smile, "L-Leah?" he said slightly shocked that she was on a branch outside his window. He walked over opening his window, "Leah...and just what do you think you are doing up there..." he said reaching out and taking ahold of her in his arms and pulling her into his dorm, however he lost his footing and he fell backwards on his back with her on top of him. He groaned slightly before opening his eyes, his lips inches away from hers, he gently and nervously sat up, "sorry about that..." he sighed rubbing the back of his head, "good morning..."

Kulex smiled hugging her close and gently rubbing her back he closed his eyes again just resting, "sleep as long as you want precious...especially if you can be peaceful in it..."

 

Leah giggled. "Watching you sleep..." She said and grinned. "You have heard that vampires don't sleep, right?" She asked. She smiled when he pulled her into his dorm, but gasped when he slipped. When she fell on him, her eyes widened and she quickly scrambled up, her breathing accelarating. She gracefully jumped back on her feet and sighed. "That's all right..." She said and smiled. "Good morning to you, too..." She suddenly grinned. "Are you aware that you talk in your sleep?" She giggled.

Brexecca suddenly gasped and held on to Kulex a little tighter, but she didn't wake up.

 

Mark froze when she mentioned him talking in his sleep, he turned around nervously, "uh...I have been known to do that from time to time...especially if I have something on my mind..." he sighed figuring it was fairly obvious he had dreamed and talked about her in his sleep last night. "So...what all did I say about you...." he said before remembering she said she had been watching him sleep, "so apparently I have my very own vampire angel watching over me now..." he smiled.

Kulex felt her grip tighten and her gasp, "Precious?" he said a little louder, "what could it be a nightmare?....do I need to wake her up?" he said becoming slightly nervous of what to do.

 

"You said you wanted me to let you take care of me... That you didn't want what happened last night to make us grow farther apart..." She explained and looked away from him, not smiling anymore. "Mark, I'm going to try again..." She said softly. "I'm going to try to control myself again... but..." She shook her head. "If I ever hurt you again, then I have to leave..." She sighed. "There's much more to being a vampire than you know... I guess it's time I explain it to you, huh?" She giggled softly at his last statement. "What else am I supossed to do while everybody's asleep at night...?" She grinned.

Brexecca buried her face into his chest, holding him close, but she did not wake up, yet.

 

Mark gently put his arms around her and hugged her close, "personally Leah...if I could just take care of you...always be by your side...I don't care what befalls me..." he said gently touching her cheek. "To be honest...I didn't think I would find a girl like you....beautiful....intelligent....quiet....so much like me" he smiled, "I don't care if you are a vampire...and I am a nobody....I won't let that change what I think or how I feel for you..."

Kulex continued to hold her close, gently rubbing her back, "please....whatever is making her feel this way...please make it stop..." he said gently trying to get her to wake up again.

 

Leah sucked in a sharp breath, taking a step back from Mark again. "Please... Don't..." She said softly, biting her lip. "I do care what happens to you... If I bite you, it'll be even more dangerous for you..." She decided to start explaining. "Vampires have their own sort of 'laws', as you may call them... If we bite a human, they the vampire who did it is sentenced for immediate destruction... And even if you survived me biting you, they'd also be after you, because it is 'illegal' to make new vampires if there aren't enough people to control the newborn... They're a threat to the humans, as newborn vampires are way out of control and can't control themselves..." She explained and looked out the window. "Mark... Can you please not tell anybody else that I'm a vampire...? That's sort of... against the law, too..." She rubbed the back of her head. "I'm pushing it by staying here, but I don't want to leave you... Please try not to put yourself in unnecessary danger..." She said softly, looking him back in the eyes.

Brexecca opened her eyes slowly.

 

Mark sighed taking her hand atleast in his and rubbing it, "Silly..." he said looking up into her eyes softly, "then atleast promise me I can take care of you...I will admit...I have feelings that I wish I could show you through hugs through hugs and kisses...however if that will only make it worse for you I will refrain..." He gently stood up, "perhaps...perhaps one day we can prove that a vampire and nobody can be together..." he said quietly.

Kulex noticed Brexecca was finally waking up, "precious are you ok?" was the first thing coming from his mouth, "you were holding me tightly and gasping....was it a nightmare?....are you feeling worse?"

 

"I promise..." She said softly. "Perhaps..." She smiled. "It's possible, but not now... Not while I'm like this... Maybe when I'm more tame..." She gently squeezed his hand. "But remember, when I tell you to run, be sure and do it next time!" She giggled. Suddenly, she glanced out the window and saw that the sun was just about to rise over the horizon. "Would you like to see something more interesting about being a vampire...?" She asked and grinned, happily. She knew they could find a way to make this work... It was harder with more than one human around, but she noticed it was easier to resist when it was just him.

Brexecca didn't respond. She was breathing heavily and there was a little fear in her eyes. As a response, she held Kulex tightly to her again and dug her face into his chest, tears falling down her cheeks.
