"That's all right...." Andrew tried not to show that he was disappointed so it just looked like he didn't care at the moment. He was truly hoping to have a game buddy...but... "Well....okay....I tried to introduce something new to you...now...maybe it's your turn?"

 

Anna thought for a moment. "Well... You said you can't really run... How about we give it a shot?" She asked and grinned.

Leah found a bag in her suitcase that had her cloak and gloves in it. She smiled at Kulex and Brexecca. Even as a vampire, she thought they looked so cute together. "I've got somewhere I need to be... It was nice meeting both of you." She said politely and waved, heading out of the room.

Brexecca waved back at Leah as she left, and then looked back at Kulex. She sat up a little. "But what if you get sick?" She asked, worriedly squeezing his hand.

Kulex laughed lightly, "then I guess I will get sick...but I want you to be comfortable..." he said taking her hand again, "ah but before that..." He sat up getting the medicine out of his pocket and pulling out a spoon as well, "unfornately its time for your medicine...." he said pouring it into the spoon.

Mark had finished his bottle of water, got up throwing it away, so he decided to check up on Brexecca and Kulex, "I would imagine she would be doing somewhat better..." he said quietly to himself. As he was walking he once again crossed paths with Leah, "ah...good afternoon again Leah..." he smiled.

 

Leah spotted Mark and smiled. "Oh hey, Mark..." She said happily. "How are you?" She asked. She'd heard him thinking about going to see Kulex and Brexecca, so she guessed that they must be friends.

"Ah..." She said and wrinkled her nose. "It's already been four hours? How does time move so fast?" She asked and giggled, grinning. She sat up a little on the bed.

 

Mark smiled and nodded, "I'm doing pretty good....its a beautiful afternoon..." he said glancing at the window before back at her, "and how are you doing this fine day Leah?" he asked back. He was slightly surprised at her being out at this hour, after all she had told him she had somewhere to be earlier, "Leah...would you like to join me on a afternoon or evening walk later today?" he asked softly, "I could show you around the school..."

Kulex laughed at her wrinkling her nose, "yes...unfornately it does seem to pass rather fast...." he sighed placing the medicine at the entrance to her mouth. "However if it makes you feel better then its best for you to take it and get well...."

 

Leah bit her lip. She had noticed that his scent was different than everyone else's... stronger. If they were out by themselves, then she knew it would be a danger to him. However, she remembered how he looked somewhat sad last time she'd said she was busy, so she simply smiled. "Sure," She said and rubbed the back of her head. "But I already kinda found my way around the school..." She laughed.

Brexecca took the medicine, but she decided not to make it over dramatic like she had last time. She grinned. "When did you become a doctor?" She joked and laughed, gently squeezing his hand.

 

Mark's grew a little realizing he had accepted his offer, "wonderful..." he said softly, he laughed lightly hearing her last statement, "oh wow..you must be fast...it takes some new people a few weeks to fully get the hang of the new campus...." He noticed that she still slightly seemed uncomfortable with him, "would you like to go later and I can meet you at your dorm?" he asked.

Kulex laughed lightly, "doctor...me...never..." he said putting the medicine up and laying them both on her bedside table. "I already told you silly...our genius doctor is probably sitting in my dorm still working on that silly project of his...."

 

Brexecca grinned. "Yeah, I know..." She said and giggled as she laid back down.

"Really?" She asked, surprised. "Hmm... I guess I usually get used to places pretty fast." She smiled. "That's sounds good to me," She replied to his last statement. "Oh! It seemed like you were going somewhere... Am I keeping you?" She asked him softly.

 

Mark smiled and shook his head, "not at all...I enjoyed speaking with you...and I will be around later this afternoon to pick you up..." he became slightly nervous at saying that last part as it could be related to him taking her out on a date. "I guess I will see you later then...take care...." he said walking off towards her dorm.

Kulex sighed, "I think I will probably become an engineer...." he said closing his eyes and resting next to her, "I like hard work...it helps your body and your wallet..." he laughed lightly.

 

Brexecca laughed. "That's probably a good job for you, then. You can probably already tell what my career choice is..." She grinned and giggled when she yawned. "I'm guessing you won't let me stay up anymore...?" She said and gently squeezed his hand.

 

Kulex grinned, "if I had to say...a professional athlete of some sort..." he said acting like he was thinking hard, "hmm...the ones that get wet with water a lot.." he said. "Aha....prefessional bather!" he said laughing lightly and giving her a gentle squeeze, "I think it would be best if you got some rest..yes...."

 

Brexecca laughed and rolled her eyes. "No, a professional swimmer!" She said and grinned. She gently held his hand in hers. "Fine... But if I have to sleep, then so do you..." She said and smiled.

Leah walked to the girl's bathroom and went in one of the stalls. She put the black cloak and gloves on over her clothes, making sure that her skin was completely hidden from the sun. At least I won't need to wear this when I go with Mark tonight... It should be dark enough outside that I won't need to... She thought.

 

"Of course precious..." Kulex smiled getting on her bed and lying down ontop of the covers next to her, "I will sleep right here beside you...not leaving for anything..." he said softly kissing her cheek.

Mark walked into the dorm seeing them both lying down, "hmm are they asleep?" he said quietly to himself, "oh well..I'll check in later..." he said leaving and heading down to his dorm. His thoughts were on Leah, she seemed like a nice soft spoken girl, very much like himself being softspoken

 

"Well.....I say I run decently...but..." Andrew trailed off. He knew he wasn't really all that great of a runner. But he did know he was probably in way beter shape than most hardcore gamers.

 

"All right..." She said, hesitantely. "Try not to get sick though, okay?" She said and smiled softly, gently squeezing his hand. The last thing she wanted to do was to get him sick, as well.

Leah walked out of the bathroom and put on the hood as she walked outside into the sun. She sat under a tree and pulled out a map of the city from her bag. Hmm... Hopefully there's a forest or something nearby... She thought, scanning the paper.

"Well let's try it... Trust me, by the time we're done, you'll be a much better runner..." She grinned.

 

Andrew gulped. This felt like it was going to hurt. He followed after her slowly.

 

Kulex sighed and smiled, "ok...I will try not to get sick..." he said hugging her close and gently kissed her forehead. He started to soft hum and song Mark's mother had sung to him and Mark when they couldn't get to sleep on their sleepovers.

Mark laid down on his bed as thoughts of Leah continued to flood his mind, "could it be....even though I just met her...I'm starting to like her?" he asked himself quietly. The girl did resemble his previous girlfriend very much so, and was quite like himself too so it wasn't hard to see that as the option.

 

Leah saw a forest just north of the school. Ah, that's perfect... She thought. That way I can go up there every weekend so that I won't get thirsty... Hopefully things'll get a bit easier when I learn to resist better... She sighed. This is good practice...

Brexecca listened to his humming. The song sounded so beautiful... Silently, she hugged him close and closed her eyes, relaxing. She smiled softly, and it wasn't long before she had fallen asleep.

 

".....so....where're we going?.....and....uh....what're you going to do?...>_>" Andrew asked her.

 

Anna grinned. "We're going to the track. Where else would you practice running?" She asked and smiled. "Don't worry, I'm just going to teach you some special ways that can help you run faster... It won't hurt." She could read the expression on his face perfectly.
