Brexecca could still feel that her cheeks were a little red, but she ignored it and smiled. "Don't worry about it... I'm not hurt," She said and looked at him. "It happens, sometimes... Did you get hurt?"

"But why?" Abexecca asked, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Fayte... You know you can tell me anything."

 

"I-If I tell you..will you promise..you won't be afraid..of me?" He asked silently as he returned his gaze to the floor.

 

Kulex nodded slightly and gave her a small smile, "yes...thank you I am fine...." he gently rubbed his lips and stopped realizing now why they felt that way, he turned to her. "Brexecca?" he asked, "did I do anything other than fall against you when I was falling?"

 

"I don't know....it seems like such a waste of a game or system.......but.....all right....maybe we'll try it next time...." Andrew thought hard about it and then figured something out. "Wait a minute....no we can't do that to a game, because it won't do anything.....maybe the screen where it displays the images?"

 

Brexecca thought for a moment. She remembered him slipping and then... Her cheeks turned a little redder, and she hoped he wouldn't notice. "Um..." It would sound kind of odd to tell him that, but she didn't want to lie, either. "Well... U-Um... You brushed your lips against my cheek when you fell..." She said awkwardly, rubbing the back of her head as she looked down the water. I feel weird... She thought.

Abexecca stayed silent for a moment. "I promise..." She said softly, gently taking his hands. "What is it, Fayte...? I promise I won't be scared of you..." She wondered what would possibly make him think that.

Anna thought for a moment. "You know... that might work..." She said, thinking.

 

"Yeah....but....I don't think I should damage my game systems....or TV.....oh wait a minute......you don't ahve to take the DS.....here...you can take my SP instead....silly me...." Andrew smiled at her. He wondered why he didn't think of that before.

 

Kulex was a little shocked, "I..brushed my lips against your cheek?" he said becoming slightly nervous himself, the reason being of course that he liked her slightly and did it by accident too, "I'm sorry Brexecca..." he said gently embracing her.

 

Brexecca couldn't help but giggle. "It's alright. You act like you just committed a crime," She joked, grinning as she tried to lighten the mood some.

Anna tilted her head. "Oh yeah... You said this game plays on both systems, right?" She asked him, smiling.

 

"A few years ago...in high school...some-thing..starting to randomly control what I do..at first it only happened when I was really angry..but slowly it started to happen more and more. For some reason though it stopped for awhile..but when Summer started it took over again..A-And.." He said as he voice suddeny softened.
"It made m-me.." He said stopping as he softly clenched his fists afraid of going on. But deep inside he knew he had to tell her what had happened.
"I-It..made me kill people.." He finished silently

 

Abexecca's eyes widened, but mostly just at the last sentence. She was stunned. So he's... K-Killed people...? She thought. She stared at him with wide eyes, shocked. It was as if she hadn't heard anything else. Gently, she let go of his hands and pulled hers back, but she didn't keep her eyes off of him. She was completely speechless. She'd told him she wouldn't be afraid of him, but still... Could she help it...?

 

*Fayte bit his softly as he felt her let go of his hand*
Maybe I shouldn't have told he-..no..I had to" He thought to himself with a sigh as he slowly gazed up at her.
"..I-It's over isn't it?" He asked her softly.

 

Andrew smiled again. "That is correct, my pupil.You are learning fast." He handed her his SP and took back his DS. "Well....now it's more convenient to hold, and play. Plus, less bulky. I'll lend the DS to you some other time. Probably when I get more DS games."

 

Abexecca didn't move for a second- too surprised- but then her expression softened and she shook her head. Suddenly, she gently grabbed his hands and leaned over, kissing his softly on the lips, a light blush on her cheeks. When she pulled back from him, she gave a small smile. "No... I promised you I wouldn't be afraid..." She said softly.

"Okay," Anna said and smiled. Then, she giggled. "Your pupil?" She asked. So he was going to teach her about video games?

 

Kulex was feeling slightly uncomfortable with what had just happened, half of him liked the fact her had been able to make a little affectionate conection through that, but the other half was unsure, after all he didn't even know if she had a boyfriend or not. He stood hugging her silently before realizing it was probably slightly weird to her and let go gently, he laughed lightly, "hopefully not against a beautiful young woman like yourself..." he froze hearing what he had said. "Dang it...smooth Kulex smooth...you have to take it slow....."

 

"That is correct, young one....but mind you...I'm not exactly into fighting games and games with so much blood it spurts out everywhere. But your favorite genre is up to you to decide."

 

Brexecca giggled a little and smiled, but she could feel her cheeks were still red. Why do I feel this way...? It's like... I can't breathe or something... She thought. But at the same time, it's not really a bad feeling... Or is it...? She wondered.

Anna grinned. "Don't worry, I don't think I'd like tha stuff too much, actually..." She said.

 

"All right...but I'm warning you....this game gets addicting....fast. Well....at least for me it was....but I'm sure one day you'll find a seriously addicting game and...well...there's nothing wrong with that, but you also need to learn to break away for a few days." This was from personal experience for Andrew.

 

To be honest Kulex didn't know what to do next, he felt he had caused uneasy feelings, now whether it was good or bad he couldn't figure out, "Brexecca...I'm sorry if I have made it uncomfortable for you..." he said softly. He looked down into the water, "we can stop swimming if you would like...."

 

"Really, it's okay, Kulex... you didn't make me feel uncomfortable..." She said softly and smiled. "But... I think... I'm gonna sit out for a bit... I'm feeling somewhat sick..." She admitted, a lightheaded feeling clouding her head.

Anna looked down at the SP. "So is that why so many people play it all the time? because it's addicting?" She asked Andrew, looking back up at him.

 

"Ok...I understand..." Kulex said softly and got out of the pool, he grabbed his towel and started to dry off, "curses...what were you thinking...oh thats right you weren't....well you should have been....now look how you have made her feel..." he sighed. He looked up putting the towel around his neck, "I'll let you be Brexecca...I'm going to take a little walk then I will be back...." he said trying to smile just a little, he waved and slowly walked off.
