"No...thank you," Kadaj murmured, as he turned and walked away, although he left the portal open.

"I was asleep at home," Larxene answered, "and then I...awoke on the ground of the clock tower, as if I had fallen off it..." She took a lick of her ice cream. "Whoa, that really is salty," she said, drawing back slightly.

 

Rikku went in the bathroom and took her hat off.
That was a close one. She combed her hair.

 

The portal lead Irvine to the Twilight Town.Now,he said as he walked off the portal.To find that person

 

"Well, you DID fall, that's a given. But you can't remember anything inbetween home and then...so let's ask around! Oh, and try your ice cream now. Told ya it was salty the first second."

 

Larxene gave a small smile. "Yeah, it is..." she murmured, as she took another lick. "It's actually pretty good though...oh, but I don't live here...I don't live anywhere around here...as I said before, I don't even remember how I came to be here, and the only thing I remember is 'Rayce'...which I'm assuming was a place I was searching for."

Kadaj walked into an empty classroom, making sure he was completely alone.

 

Rikku then put her disguise on and saw a portal. She went through it.
What is this town she thought.

 

Irvine walked around when he noticed Larxene.Larxene!he said and ran to her.You ok?

 

"Hmm...I GOT IT! At my catle, there's a memory scanner. If THAT don't work, nothing will!" He said, grinning.

 

"That sounds -" Larxene was interrupted by a voice. She turned to see a man with brown hair in a ponytail. "Who are you?" she asked, looking at him up and down. "And who's Larxene?"

 

Rikku looked and saw irvin.What..is..this she thought.

 

Huh?Irvine said.I'm Irvine and you're Larxene.What's wrong with you?

"No, I'm Arlene," Larxene said, raising an eyebrow. "What's wrong with you?" She turned and said, "Mickey, let's...go to your castle."

 

"All right...LIGHT, GIVE ME POWER! *summons a portal* After you."

 

Larxene hesitated, looking at the portal and then at the mouse. "And...I can trust you completely, right?"

 

He laughed. "Hey, I bought you Ice Cream." he said, winking. "Ha-ha...I'll just go first, to prove it's safe. Geronimo!" *jumps in*

 

Larxene took a step back, still wary, but thought to herself, What's the worse that could happen? She walked through, but as the portal the king had made was a pathway through light, not darkness, her body, being a Nobody, was not used to it. She closed her eyes and winced, disliking the intense light, as it sent a small jolt of pain through her. When she appeared on the other side, her breathing was slightly ragged, and her fists were clenched in pain.

 

"Never get tired of that. Huh? ARLENE, you okay?




...um, Arlene?"

 

Larxene let go of her breath that she had been holding, and opened her eyes. "Y-yeah," she said. She took a staggering step forward, almost falling but managing to catch herself.

 

Rikku folowed them.
