KH1 originally started with a dream, so it makes sense that this one does too.

But going back to KH1 isn't going to advance the plot at all :/
Where are the good days that every KH had its own magic? They made half of the world who loved KH lose interest in them... they just are unfair with themselves, and then with th fans.

Honestly, they were nice enough to give you the "snaps awake" portion of the freaky dream sequence. What's so difficult to understand? Sora was tripping out, as usual.

That said, I assume this is a KH1 remake. I am looking forward to it. KH1 was arguably the best, because the protagonist was likeable.

Jeeez. How expensive would a 3DS be? Things are rough right now and it'll be difficult for some people to buy a new console. Why can't Square just make it on the DS or even PS2 for the love of God? >____<

I honestly can't wait for this..Imo, they are wanting to experiment with the 3DS to see what they can do with it. Either way, I am excited for this and not to mention the 3DS.

I think it would be cool, but I just bought a DS lite. I won't be getting a new DS system for years and years. I wouldn't mind a KH remake. That game was much better, and Sora was better in KH.​

When will they stop re-creating the KH1 scenarios in new ways and CONTINUE THE DAMN PLOT? It's been 5 years and still the storyline has not continued from when Sora and friends got the letter...

Maybe I'm stupid, or maybe it's the fact that I can't read the japanese text, but I really only saw one or two small differences between that and the final product.
Not counting graphics, of course.

The trailer was badass, however.

Well it seems to have started out the same, but if you look at the body of the game both the plot and gameplay seem to have been very different.
For one, we have Sora vs Riku on Destiny Islands, seeming to be the climax of the game.
Riku's story was going to be either more important or at least shown more.
They kept the Keyhole in DI.
You couldn't fly in Neverland.
Disney Castle was playable.
Based on how he ran up the Darkside's arm, it also looks like it could have had an early version of Reaction Commands.
And Sora seems to have been the center of the plot rather than just the main character, as evidenced by "That's right Sora./Your body, your soul, you whole existence.../They're all going to disappear," presumable said by Riku, who was probably originally going to be the final boss.
Finally, Sora may have originally been intended to fall to Darkness, evidenced by, "Sora, don't go." Based on all this, the plot was probably way different, different enough to be remade into a new game later on.

It's not a new DS, it's a whole new system.

Anyway, i think that it could be a remake of the Kingdom Hearts Mobile game that Disney Interactive made, maybe?

Now that you mentioned 3DS, mind if I ask what exactly is going to be new about it? Except for the basic stuff, like graphics and sound.

DS-type system that lets you view games in 3D without the need for polarised glasses.

Also has PSP-style graphics, if those screens of the new Kid Icarus are any indication.

Uhmm... are you sure that's the only difference? The joystic and the 3D?

There's also a difference in button placement, and there's a slider that lets you change the depth of the 3d. There's also two cameras on the back so you can take 3D pictures.

Wow. Must be the most pointless entirely new console that has been made so far... I hope I'm wrong though.
