358/2 Days Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days -Final Mix-

I will admit, 358/2 Days was probably my favorite KH game due to the storyline, keyblades, and Characters. I was thinking, just about every KH game has a final mix. I personally would love to see a final mix for the PSP or something, that way we can play it with better graphics, and maybe more in depth with Xion's absence near the end of the game. What do you guys say?

 

It was released before BBS. Only three games have a Final Mix and those are technically the numbered games. Nomura said himself that he considers Birth by Sleep to be Kingdom Hearts 0. Only numbered games will get a Final Mix it seems. 358/2 is in that awkward spot where it's not important enough to get a Final Mix and new enough not to get a port because it's on the DS. Coded had a reason to be ported and so did Chain of Memories. 358/2 doesn't seem to have any reason to be updated.

Though on the other hand...it would've been good to see updated graphics and stuff on this game anyways. *Cough*Vita*Cough*

 

Yeah that's all n all what i was trying to get at. I would love to see it remastered and enjoy it with better graphics. (Summon Jesse McCArtney, Quinton Flynn, and Alyson Stoner!!!)

 

Well usually when they make a final mix, they keep the english audio version but change the subtitles to japanese. so if they did do that, you would be able to understand what they are saying, but you couldn't read the text. Now, the Final mix games obviously add new cutscenes, which they get the japanese actors to voice it and there would be the japanese text underneath. But i don't know if for the BBS Final mix it was in english subs, cause i watched it from our archive and it looked like square enix put them in, so i dunno, but regardless, i would still play a final mix version of Days. (Let's hope it would be on a region free console...)

 

Understandable, however my friend and i've played the final mix versions without patches. We enjoy it, but then again, we're Japan-aholics. Lolz. I guess we just play the game it was, figure things out, memorize the katakana names of things, then FAQ answers that we don't know... but that's just us. I understand some, if at all, most would rather have a patch. I don't know how to download that, but i'm always amazed people can do that! we have a lot of them on this site and i thank them!!! but yeah, if Square won't make a final mix of Days, I propose KH-Vids makes it!!!!

 

The DS games showed Storylines that Sora has not seen.
So in a way, Those games are kind of like Final Mix.

I think it would be nice if Chain of Memories got a final Mix.
The game was all about gathering his lost memories, but It wouldn't hurt to add new perks to the game as well as Memories from when he first met Kairi or something.

 

That's true. Anything that hinders the release of KHIII that isn't necessary shouldn't really happen. But I'd like to see it sometime.

You have a point there. the Re: games were redone, but on different consoles. CoM on the GBA, then to PS2 and Coded from Japanese Phones, to the DS. I guess that would make more sense.

 

What like use double wielded Roxas like in the original? I don't see why they couldn't, although I hope that if such a thing were ever considered to begin with, they'd change how you actually get him. Customizing your gear isn't exactly a fun way to get him.

 

Well if it was on the 3DS or the PSP... It would be region free and therefore completely accessible if you get an export.

That would prove interesting. I'd really like to see more on Xion though, I'd like more solid integration of her existence in the series so she would seem more necessary of a character rather than a Mary Sue.
