Kingdom Hearts 3: Reconnect

"Don't worry, we'll be there." Sora said.

 

"hehe hey Riku!" She smiled back.

She turned to Sora "Sora!" Kairi hugged him then smiled and wondered what did he wanted to say to her.

Seeing Riku leave home she turns to Sora and asks "So um..What is it that you want to tell me?"

 

Sora looked at her, wondering how to say it. "Um, YEn Sid said you had to become the ruler of radiant garden since that's your homeworld, and you had to marry a keyblade wielder..."

 

Unbeknown to Sora and Kairi, Riku was hiding a little ways away, watching them. He was trying hard not to laugh and give away his position. 'Wow he is really pulling this out of his ass isn't he?' He thought to himself.

 

Kairi was surprised and unexpecting to hear this. "Me? ruler of a..world? But I really like it here and Wow..marry someone.." she thought it was all too sudden but to marry someone..a keyblade wielder, she tried not to smile and blush that much. "do you really think I have what it takes?"

 

"Of course." he sadi.

 

"heehee okay I guess I can give it a shot" she smiled

 

Sora looked at her and smiled. "I know you'll pick the right person." he said.

 

She already knows who she wants to pick but wants to know if Sora knew too. "heh Do you know already who I'd pick?" she asked smiling.

 

"No."Sora said. "And it's your business so you dont have to tell me."

 

Wasn't expecting him to say that "oh..yeah I guess your right...so um how was the trip? Did you guys learn anything knew? Was it fun? " she asked. Wanting to know the details.

 

"Yeah it was alright." Riku said, walking out of his hiding place. "Lots of dream eaters. And we apparently have all the skills of keyblade masters now."

 

Kairi was surprised to see Riku still being here. "oh thats great!" *she smiled* "um what are dream eaters? There werent any heartless?" she asked.

 

Getting past the disdain at Riku for not leaving, Sora inquired his response. "There are two types: ones that "eat dreams and plant nightmares", referred to as Nightmares, and ones that "eat nightmares", referred to as Spirits" he said.

 

"Yeah pretty much what he said. They're like heartless but different. The spirits helped us while we fought the nightmares." Riku added.

 

"oh I see...hehe that's good you guys had some help, it would have taken longer for you two to come back home " she giggled as she said it.

 

"Yeah..." Sora said. "You guys wanna head to the radiant garden?"

 

"Sure, we need to get Kairi there anyway." Riku said as he summoned his glider again and took off, knowing Kairi would prefer riding with Sora.

 

"okay but Destiny Islands is still my home too.." Kairi said hoping she wouldnt stay at Radiant Garden forever.

 

Sora saw his chance now that Riku was really gone."Kairi?" he said. "While we where gone... I never stopped thinking about you."
