That's right people you could pre-order KH3 right now for either Xbox One or Playstation 4 for $60! How awesome is that?!

It's been up for a long time. I suppose that, with Amazon's preorder policies, you've nothing to lose, but I'd still wait to see what kind of bundles & limited editions are made available.

So, where is the sense in preordering a game which is like at 0,000000001% of development

That's nice to know! I'm curious as to how many people have pre-ordered it by now.

Getting a guarantee you'll be able to get one on release week since this is a high demand game.

I mean, it's KHIII. Unless you live in a town where like 3 people play video games, you won't get it on release day/week unless you preorder.

KH is popular, but is it that popular?
Maybe it's just the area I live in but I have a hard time imagining that everyone in town will be running out to get THE NEW KH GAME.

This, I've gotten every KH game since Days on launch day, and they've always had plenty to spare. KH3 is anticipated, sure, and I'll bet it sells a tonne, maybe even better than any previous KH
But KH is an upper mid tier popular game. It takes something special (or not printing enough to meet demand) for a game to sell out

I don't think there will be stock issues unless they do a limited edition release. If they do, I imagine you'll have trouble getting the LE if you don't preorder... otherwise, your local tech/gaming stores should have plenty in stock. KH3 may be in high demand, but I really think it's only consoles that you can't get on day one unless you preorder.

That said, preordering from Amazon is harmless because of their preorder price guarantee and because you don't have to put any money down.

I find it odd that pre order is available for a game that has just started development. A few weeks ago i was in α department store and as i walked in to the gaming section i saw PS4 and Xone KHIII games on the coming soon selves. I just find it is way too early for a game that won't be released in less than two or three years to have pre orders.

The people putting these pre-orders and advertisements up may not realize how far off the release is. They hear "kh3" and know it's something a fair amount of people have wanted for a long time and put pre-orders and advertisements up as soon as possible to get people excited for it's release. In fact, I would not be surprised if this will cause people to be annoyed in the future for having to wait too long for something they thought was 'coming soon.'
