Kingdom Hearts 25th Anniversary Event Set for D23 2026

    It was announced today that this year's D23 Expo will feature a one hour event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series, titled 'DEEP DIVE into KINGDOM HEARTS', scheduled for August 15th from 4:30-5:30 pm PST:

    The event will include some of the series' voice actors and creative minds, and may potentially provide us our next look into 'Kingdom Hearts IV'! This event is significant in that it is the first D23 event dedicated entirely to Kingdom Hearts.

      The 25th anniversary logo, I believe, is new, and I can't imagine Square Enix whipping it up just for a D23 panel. When I first saw this news I convinced myself it was entirely possible that the panel could have absolutely nothing about KHIV, but I think I've talked myself around. It's still possible that all we get is a small tease, but I'm sure now that we'll get something new.

      ...Maybe a late 2027 release isn't too far-fetched...but I'm getting ahead of myself. We'll see what D23 holds!
