Definitely not. I've only had to use AP Ups for Sora, Donald and Goofy a total of 10-15 times. I'm at 99 and still have over 25 (I think 28) AP Ups left. And that doesn't include any synthesized ones (as I won't need to).

 

Since you can get unlimited Power, Defense, and Magic Boosts without synthesizing, what about AP?

 

You can synthesize AP Up. I'm not sure if there's a Data fight for it.

Not sure, but I honestly don't need you need it. There is an excessive amount of AP already without synthing. I already have all the AP I need (including Donald and Goofy) and I still have an abundance in my inventory. <.<

 

lmao i havent even beat xigbar yet and i have lvl 3 final form i got it when i turned wisdom by mistake lol

i really want the ultima but yeh guys the mushrooms are deadly how do i know if i beat one?

Well right now I'm pissed off, I keep getting 77-79 on VIII and then it falls out of my reach...

Nope, but you honestly don't need every ability equipped. Like it's be sort of useless to equip Auto Brave, Auto Wisdom, Auto Master, Auto Limit and Auto Final, Auto Summon all at once. I also don't like some of the techniques as they ruin some of the combinations I like using. Like Round Break, I don't like that one so I keep it off.

As well, my style is quick finishers, i.e. I turned off all my Combo Pluses and Air Combo Pluses, and equipped Combo Minus instead. Berserk Charge also has its disadvantages so that's also off for some fights. And I never turned on EXP zero. XD

Basically there is enough AP for each character to shuffle around skills when you need to use them.

And yeah, Uta, I remember that too. It wasn't easy. Try switching your starting position (which way you're facing), because I know it helps if you can get the Mushroom into a wall), it buys you some extra hits. And spam Square like your life depended on it.

 

Awesome. I like big combos, plus you can pull out Horizontal Slash for a quick finisher.

Another quick question: when do you get EXP Zero? The Twilight Thorn? (wants to play Critical Mode at level 1)

I procrastinated after I got Final Form to finish the game. I beat him easily at lvl 80 with Ultima. =\

EDIT: You get EXP zero right at the beginning on Critical Mode. You actually start off with AP and several abilities including Air Recovery, etc right off the bat.

 

So you start off with EXP 0? Awesome!

Do you only get half the Max HP in Critical, too?

 

Not sure on 'half', but the Max HP is severely cut yes. It only goes as far as Sora's chest in the picture. Just watch any of Uta's videos. XD

 

You get EXP Zero at the very beginning, Roxas. xD

You get about 30 AP worth of abilities at the very beginning on Critical--which is very nice.

I beat VIII, btw. =D

 

lvl 80 lmao im doing him at lvl 56 atm guess i should train harder i have maxed out valor and almost maxed out limit anyone know a good place to train master and wisdom?

 

Wisdom - Dark City with all the Shadows. Spam Firaga. I heard these Shadows disappear from here if you went too far in TWTNW. =\

Master Form - I'm partial to Beast's Castle with the blue spike tank things and the Crimson Jazz. There's also those statues in the West Wing that you can break to get some extra Orbs as well.

 

Master - The hallway in the palace of The Land of Dragons (equip as many Draws and Jackpots as possible).

Wisdom - TWTNW at the very beginning. I use Thundaga, not Firaga as Soush said but both are fine.

Another Q: when are you able to go in the portals and fight those Org. XIII members? Everyone seems to be doing it at low levels like 20-25.

 

The best for Master is in Land of the Dragons, IMO. I leveled from 1-7 in about 45 minutes. Lol. Go to the burned down town/village, and go to the mountain area to the explosives. They give out a nice abundance of Drive Orbs. Like 50-80 Exp + large heartless if you want a nice level up.

EDIT: People are at those low levels, Roxas, because the area FOR the Organization fights is revealed a bit before the 1000 heartless battle.
