Kingdom Hearts II Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ Discussion

Question. The new scene with Riku and Roxas fighting... where exactly in the game do they show that? Was it near the end? I only began skipping cutscenes once I entered the room where you battle Xigbar and beyond, and I didn't see that scene at all during the game.

Can someone tell me where it shows? It'll isolate the searching when I scan through Theatre Mode to find it.

 

After Riku says "because Roxas is your nobody" to Sora. You started skipping at just the wrong time.

 

When you play Re: CoM with FM+ saved data on your memory card, you get extra cards previously unobtainable in that game. Namely the Org. members from KHII.

On a different note, for some reason the Cave of Wonders Mushroom isn't giving me the damn fireworks. It's the only one left I have to do.

Any tips? I'm guessing I'm just not strong enough, but if there's a method anyone's used that was successful I'd like to know.

Oh, and what is the time limit I need to get the fireworks? XD

 

I think it's under 10 seconds, my current record with that is 5 seconds, I just equipped Minus Combos and Fenrir, should help a lot. I suggest unequipping Explosion though. If that doesn't work, try Rumbling Rose.

 

Ah, yeah. I'm probably not strong enough. I was using Rumbling Rose with Combo Minus and all Finish Pluses I had (I had about 4 consecutive Finishers chained) and it still only got me 12 seconds.

I guess I should just level a bit and come back to it. Thanks Uta.

 

Eeek.. I've finished Re: CoM and am about to start FM+

Dare I go at it without any item/ability/synthesis translations? I know no Japanese at all, not even kana, and I can't print off the list libregkd posted way back with the items, abilities, etc Japanese names with English next to them cos my printer is screwed..

Is it really that hard to figure the abilities out? That's the only thing I'm worried about. I care not for the items or synthesis. I'll probably equip all the crappy abilities I never used in the original KHII, like Auto Summon, Auto-Aim, etc XD

 

If you're good at phonetics, all you will really need is a Katakana Alphabet chart in front of you. This is because all the abilities are "English" words that were converted into Japanese syllables. So you can just decipher the symbols one by one and figure out the word. Example:

A - i - te - mu translates to "Item". If you say A-i-te-mu really fast, it sounds a lot like 'item' doesn't it? This method assumes you know how to pronounce Japanese vowels. But that's not hard, it's the same in Latin and Italian.

The other option is to write down the words on a list after reading them off this site. XD That can be time consuming but it's up to you.

 

^ I actually attempted to write down the Japanese symbols with the intention of writing English next to them for easy everyday access.. I gave up after the first ability on the list XD The Japanese symbols are just so hard to write.

Blah. Oh well, on GameFAQs Kouli has sites listed where I could learn Katakana on his FM+ FAQ. I guess I could try that.. ?

Yeah, some of them can be, and not all of them are written in Kata, some are in Kanji and Hira (like the new Roxas Keyblade Meguriau Futari <.<;;;)

Anyway, yeah I'm sure you'll find a way if you're really intent on playing. You could save the abilities list/translations on USB and take it to a Kinkos or a Xerox and print them out there. XDDD. The things people can do for KH.

Just finished all the Mushrooms. I'm sporting my very-hard-to-see Bronze Crown. Damn Sora for being a brunette.

I think they made Sephiroth easier or something, beat him a while ago.

 

I haven't done any extra stuff.

I'm not gonna until I get all my forms to level 7 (one left, final), and get to level 99, which I have yet to do.

Btw, Utawa, is the Org. Data fights refightable?

 

^ Yea, but the orbs are not.

 

Actually, I got around with not doing that. Initially with Roxas I just equipped everything but EXP 0, which is the last ability on the list. Later I ended up figuring out which ability is which and getting rid of things I don't need like Auto=Summon and Blizzard/Fire/Thunder boosts.

In the midst of all the new stuff, I completely forgot about Sephy. LOL. So I paid him a visit, and bid him farewell and sent him on his way.

Twas overkill, I was lvl 80 w/ Ultima. XD

Currently level 82, planning to complete the puzzle piece collection and track down any remaining chests while leveling to 99.

And then I shall tackle the Data fights and the ES.

 

lol i am still stuck on roxas fite limit and valor still 6 master now lvl 4 gonna attemp roxas at like lvl 50 guys wheres all the stuff for ultima cause in kh2 i had all stuff and moogle lvl and i still wouldnt make! and i dont want that to happen in final mix!
