To get final in this version you have to equip the ability light and dark. look at my ability translation with picks. you can see it. It takes 3 times to transform. make sure you have 5 drive gauge saved up too.

 

Light and Dark just increases the chances, it's not a requirement. But yes, you're probably better off using it since it's there.

 

I looked and I didn't see an ability named Light and Dark.

I have that keyblade from Roxas though. I dunno.

 

It's attached to Roxas' Keyblade.

 

Okay, so using that keyblade, I transform into any of my forms in TWTNW, or just Memory Skyscraper? Like Wisdom? Does Anti count?

 

You can transform anywhere, with any Drive, just your chances are a lot higher if you're equipped with the Meguriau Futari (Roxas' Keyblade)

 

I assume Anti form doesn't count as a transformation for this.. D: I'm going Anti a LOT which is REALLY annoying because I need Final so badly.

 

Are you Driving in or outside battle? It's the safest to Drive while you're in battle.

 

In battle, and I started waiting until someone dies first so I don't get Anti. I went Valor like twice, still no Final.

Edit: >_<;; I went Valor three times in a row, twice in Dark City, one in the Castle, no anti and in battle. With the keyblade. I haven't got it and I'm going to bed.. D:

 

I got final...like....the first time I went to drive after getting Roxas' keyblade. xD

I didn't have it equipped though, making this post rather redundant. >.>

 

Should I be trying to go master instead of Valor? I'm not made of Drive Recoveries. D:<

But FAQs say that Final will appear in place of another form.. And with the Light and Dark it will be more likely. I tried going Valor when Donald was dead so I wouldn't get Anti, and I didn't get it. Gah, letting myself get hit without dying to get 4 bars to just TRY and get Final will suck.

 

Do this--go to the Timeless River and start leveling up master or wisdom.

Why you ask? Because it's a lot easier to level up there due to the fact you don't have to go to the world map every time you need to refresh the drive gauge. In other words, with Timeless River, all you have to do is leave through that little gray door.

Yeah, basically just abuse the game's little nuances.

If you zone to the World Map via save point while still in a Form, you're Drive Bar will go back to Max if you re-enter. Of course, finding a place like Darky specified is *the* quickest way, but that's essentially what you wanna do.

You won't need to use Drive Recovery items and it's a lot faster in some sense.

 

so the only way to get final form is using another form i cant remember doing that in kh2 oh well gey wats the stats of roxas keyblade?

 

You did do that in the old KH2. You gain Final Form by Driving into other forms, and Final Form'll randomly show up. <.< It's not any different from before.

It's a 5 attack power, 4 magic power keyblade.

With the light and dark thingie.

EDIT: You know, I was watching the FM+ trailer/PV that was released a bit ago...the one of Riku saying "The new you" in English.

I'm thinking that maybe that was voiced ONLY for the trailer--and that they got those voices before the release of KH2 since they were probably planning it long before it released in the states.

I'm pretty (99.9%) sure that was Xemnas who said that, not Riku. Why would Riku be giving Roxas his new Organization XIII name plus sound almost exactly like the Xemnas we know? Just a thought. As for my progress, I just started Re:CoM and I got to Atlantica on Sora's story. Opened this treasure chest, and I got a card with Demyx's face on it. O_o Anyone care to explain?
