Kingdom Hearts II Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ Discussion

Just beat Data Marluxia, you can go back and refight them.
EDIT: Just beat Saix and Xigbar as well. I'll try against Vexen and if I can't beat him I'll just upload Marluxia, Saix, and Xigbar then just save the rest for later.
EDIT 2: Just beat Xaldin also, he should be up in about an hour or so, after I beat Vexen/Lexaeus.

 

Oh ****. Xaldin is insane!

I didn't realize he was that hard. >.<

He was easier for me the first time around. D:

 

So far the hardest has been Axel, haven't been able to get more than two HP bars down yet. I'll post my progress:
Xemnas- Beat his first form, the white robed form owned me.
Xigbar- Beat second try.
Xaldin- Beat after 6-7 tries.
Vexen- Got him down to maybe 6 HP bars, Antisora owns me.
Lexaeus- Got him down to 8 or 9 HP bars, damn earth attacks.
Zexion- Owned me, only was able to get down 3-4 HP bars.
Saix- Beat after 7-8 tries, freaking insane fight.
Axel- Only been able to get down one HP bar, keep getting pwned.
Demyx- Can't get past the water clones.
Luxord- Able to get him down to half of his time bar.
Marluxia- Beat on third try.
Larxene- Able to get her down to last 2-3 HP bars, then I'm owned by the lightning spam.
Roxas- Been able to deplete maybe 5-6 HP bars, then I die.

 

I'd imagine Axel to be easy, actually. Isn't it the same as Roxas' battle?

Final Form is needed in almost all of the Data fights btw, but for the Xaldin fight Final Form makes it much harder. You'll see what I mean once I upload it later today. Saix, Xigbar, and Marluxia sure are taking a long time to process.

 

Yeah. Final Form is waaay too messy attack-wise for those fights. xD

u kno where u go to get to the postern take the like alternate route and u will see a ton of mist that where it is or u have to take the long way through the secret place thats in the postern(LVL 99 area!!!).

is it just me is lvling alot harder in final mix i have unlocked 3 fites zexion's which is in underworld larxene's which is in jack sparrow world and lexaeus who is in twilight town they have all owned me lol but im only lvl 26

 

Xaldin and Demyx should be up later today, right now I'm trying at Vexen and Lexaeus.

 

If you don't stop to level up anywhere, you'll notice the Battle Level of the Worlds usually exceed Sora's level--which is probably intentional. This wasn't the case in the original KH2's Standard Mode, and probably the same in Final Mix+.

Also notice that Sora's Max HP has been severely reduced in Final Mix+, and of course, without the Second Chance ability, you can be caught off guard sometimes and get KO'ed from very powerful attacks/combos (even when Sora had half his HP left).

Critical Mode really isn't meant for the hack and slash strategy. XD It works for the majority of random encounters, but every now and then (including scripted and boss battles), you're forced to actually make use of some strategies which may take more time and more planning to execute.
