Kingdom Hearts 1; A Newer Version of it?

As the title says, what I mean on it is. Should Square-Enix and Buena Vista make a better, more enhanced version of the first game? Or leave it, as is? and the Title should be called, Kingdom Hearts: Remixed Edition, and if they did make a newer version, would be a better one, the story can stay the same, but the Heartless could look more better, Sora looks more like a 14-year-old and not a 10-year-old. Much more taller and the Keyblades could be more Enhanced as well, plus it should be the same as the Kh2 version of the Gummi Ship battle sequence, not no battle just looking straight and going up, down, left and right, every which way it should go.

And they should allow you to have the ability whether to play any character within the game, not just Sora all the time, and they should make it to where you can synthesis Keyblades together, making stronger, more powerful ones. So I just wanna know, Should they? And they should make it to where you can change your characters clothes for the Cutscenes.

EDIT: And In the better version they should have some rock music added to it as well, like Breaking Benjamin or Linkin Park type-o'-deal in it, for just the right boss battles, and yes the boss battles should be even stronger, and their choosing level of Gameplay should have, Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, Extra Hard, and Impossible for the start of a new game. Plus after Every defeat of ever boss or how many Heartless you slay, they should gain munny or a weapon after so many battles and raids of Heartless, and if they do beat the powerful more stronger Ansem, the should have the option of free-play after you defeat the game, making you travel to Destiny Islands, and other worlds, or have a Secret World that allows you to gain a new spell, weapon, or ability if you beat it, and if you start a new game they should have all the clothes from your first game, go into your second one. And the game should come out on ever console, PS2, PS3, X-Box360,Gamecube, PSP, and Nintendo Lite.

It would be nice, but I say no. To much versions of the same game, make it boring.

 

there'd be no point making a newer version of it coz its so old. i wouldnt mind like but who would pay much attention to it

 

I dont think we realy need a remake of kh but i love this game so much id probably buy it anyway

It's not being destroyed, it's just getting an upgrade. Being so low-tech and all.

 

its a nice idea, but no one would buy it. even if they did make it it would probably only be released in japan.

I don't see the point. Should they perhaps do as Nintendo and make a remake of games every time a new console comes out? (Like with super smash and Mario cart)
Even if KH seems lowtech today it was good the day it came out, and even if they DID remake it'll be considered lowtech in a few years time again. Then what? Make another remake?
And if they do that shouldn't they also remake all their other games? Meaning more than 13 final fantasy-games+various spin offs and other games?

No. KH is good the way it is, they should rather consentrate on making NEW games.

 

Mhmm, actually I like the first game as it is. I like it even more than KHII as far as the story line goes. But a new version if made shouldn't have any extreme add-ons that would change the game too much, but they could perhaps fix the camera angle just like KHII. And have the Glide ability fixed like KHII's.

 

Why would they?

For one, it just recently came out. They don't go and remake a game with drastic changes like you're suggesting when a game came out like 4 years ago. Second, it wasn't that much of a hit game to be remembered as a classic and actually be thought of being remade. I don't care how much you like KH, it is not that great of a game that people will remember and say "Wow, that game totally changed the way we play games and influenced many others."

 

That's what they said about the original trilogy of Star Wars when they made a special edition................Obsessed fans almost committed suicide after that happened...............crazy people..........

 

No, I don't think so. I think they should remake FF7, though.

 

Even if there was a remake it would never come to PS2, gamecube or Xbox 360, it would either be PSP or PS3 and I doubt they would remake it anyway, I mean come on, why does no one face the truth? No more Sqaure Enix will come to the PS2, or go on multi platform, and they can't make two versions of the same game, just get it, it's not that expensive, just sell all your game consoles or games that you don't need, or a computer.

 

Your ideas are okay. I'd like an update but Final Mix is the Final Remix that they'd make. So that'd never happen.

Gummi battles aren't my thing anyways.

I think it'd kinda ruin the effect if you could play as others besides Sora.

I like the new gameplay options KH was decent but it coulda been harder.

The battle options would make it too much like Dynasty Warriors though. I like the random and the scripted pick up system better.

Free play would be cool but this is an RPG.

The multi platforming idea is too unrealistic. They'd have to cut on quality if they did that 'cause they wouldn't have the time and manpower to pull it off.

There's also sales. They'd suck. No one'd actually buy it.

I like your ideas in general though.

Why would they want to make a new one? The first was already great.

 

They should simply release both Final Mixes of KHI and II. Simply because of the fact that the Storyline for III will use elements of the storyline only featured in the Final Mix version of KHII, just as KHII did with KHI Final Mix, e.g. The Enigmatic Man.

Just seems unfair that we should miss out on some of the storyline of the series overall.
