Feelings that only exist from knowing the person online and never actually meeting them in person.

Two of my aunts are currently in marriages that came about as a result of a relationship that began online. One of my irl friends is also currently in an online relationship that is going well. I know several online friends who would argue with you. Online relationships are hard work yes, but that doesn't mean they cannot be successful. I think you are being extremely ignorant which is highly amusing considering you condemn ignorance so strongly.

Where are they saying that they are more important/better than a real marriage? Also, lol at you insulting the ignorance of others by being ignorant yourself. You're my oldest friend online but you are pissing me off right now. How is this thread saying anything at all about anything to do with gay marriages? You are so blinded by what you believe in that you are starting to become a very bitter person.

    That is just uncalled for.

You know, considering you are someone who claims to fight for the rights of minority groups etc, you are really coming off as narrowminded as those people that go off on a rant about gay marriages.

    Oh, you mean love?
Yes, what a completely fake and meaningless feeling.

I could go out right now, call any of a dozen guys in my phone and be doing them within the next half hour, but there would be no feelings involved, it would just be purely physical. Just sex.

Whilst the lack of physical interaction can be a huge strain, it is bullshit to imply that relationships cannot be successful without it. A successful relationship takes more than just whipping off your panties and opening your legs.

I was going to post a very serious reply.

Then I noticed I'm in the Spam Zone.

Describe your religion class for me.
    Is it high school?
    Public?
    Catholic school?
    Optional class?

Do you talk about one specific religion or multiples?
Does it count any religions as the truth or does it avoid that and just talks about them?

Also, I opened a bag of MnMs and poured a bunch into my hands and each one that fell out was blue.
    It was awesome.

I am saying that, in general, when you base an entire relationship on feelings based on things based upon online interactions that the relationship is kinda shallow. People can hide things very easily online and when you base an entire relationship upon an online relationship you are putting a lot to chance.

As I see it, marriage is something that has to be put to practical trials such as living with the other person for a while. And at least being around the other person for quite a while before actually committing to marrying them!

A marriage of this sort (which I assume is a completely online marriage, I haven't the time or commitment to actually read the whole story xD I have a boyfriend, come on!) is a farce and is sure to fall through.

    ...ok?

...thats nice to mention, but I don't think thats all he meant by "physical relationship." Purely physical relationships are already seen as bad, regardless of trying to prove that online relationships are just as good/better...

If you love someone you meet online, and really love them, then why hide anytihng? I'll be honest, I've told Fayt things that I'll never tell anyone else, and I trust that he won't tell anyone. Why? Because even if it's online, we trust each other. Any relationship, online or not, is successful from the effort put into it - hell, even IRL, you can lie about yourself and your partner may never find out you're lying.

And oh my god it's the KH-fucking-V Spam Zone. It's for fun. Now chill out and let them have their fun.

    True, true.

Also, you do realise this isn't a real marriage right? It's a purposely fake thing probably for fun?

Besides, online relationships can work as long as the two people work for it, then they will probably meet, live together for a bit and then get married. Though some people do spend their entire lives as a married couple over the internet and never having met, usually that's because their playing WoW lol xD
Don't take things too seriously. Hoes and wine for everyone- *shot*

EDIT: lol, I typed slow tonight and missed a few serious posts xD
