So in other news, I confirmed my place at uni! : D

Aaaaand, me and my friend have been discussing about how we are going to get very sad and homesick when we go off to uni so we were going to get a boxset of some show to help us through the tough times xD

So, give us a good show that is lighthearted or funny or a good drama that we can get into whilst we cry into our dinners.

... So, like Broadchurch or Friends >:3 but if you all have a better idea then by all means SHARE! SHARE! SHARING IS CARING >:3

    You are too Godlike.

No seriously, those shows were my only drive to watch Television back then. I would recommend them in an eye blink.

Also I seriously need to get the time and date for The Legend of Korra season 2, it just started airing here not so long ago.

This man speaks truth. Parks and Recreation is also pretty great from what I've seen. I'm also surprised no one has said Breaking Bad yet, lol.

Part of me feels like I should get her into Doctor Who >:3 I think she would love it, the others are duly noted and I will add them to the list :3

Ahh, you trying to get me to watch the Office again xD I will add it to the list

Also, I could get series 1-8 of supernatural for £60, part of me wonders why I haven't done it already >:3
This show looks awesome : D very fitting for uni students >:3

Ooooh Breaking Bad! I have never heard of Parks and Recreation but it looks a bit like Community :3

I think she has already watched this and like it! I need to watch it though so thank you : D

    As for the funny department:

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
    Portlandia
    Blue Mountain State
    The League

    As for the drama department:
Girls (also a bit of a comedy)

Parks & Rec, Brooklyn 99, The Office, and The Mindy Project are some of the better workplace sitcoms in the last few years. I like the first two or three seasons of Community (Cooperative Calligraphy is a fantastic episode). Downtown Abbey is not a sitcom but it's one of the few shows my mom, my sisters, and I can all watch together. Gilmore Girls and Roseanne are older shows but IMO classics.

    Anime:
-Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (my favorite anime)
-Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (my second favorite anime)
-Kill la Kill (last two episodes will air within two weeks I believe)
    -Code Geass
    -Ga-Rei: Zero
    -Angel Beats

    Non-Anime:
    -Avatar: The Last Airbender
    -Archer
-American Horror Story (I personally haven't started Coven yet, which is the third season)
    -It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
-The Walking Dead (at least the first two seasons are good...)

I might think up more later.

I didn't put The Legend of Korra because of how disappointed I was with it as of season two. Just...a lot of flawed writing, missed opportunities, and lack of satisfying payoff. You can give it a try, but it's NOWHERE near the level of quality as the original Avatar: The Last Airbender.

tbh and I don't know if you're up to date, but Season 4 has been really really good. Like, season 1 levels of good.
    imo anyway.
