Khv, you like Miyazaki films.

Which would you recommend, Castle in the Sky or Howl's Moving Castle? Right now I'm leaning towards the former.

 

They're both really good, but I prefer Howl's Moving Castle, just because I have read the original novel.

Well, if you prefer Adventure-Fantasy then choose Howl's Moving Castle. Especially if you want to see funny scenes and you like the book.
But with Laputa, I would watch that if you want more of a deep background story to it.
Either way, they're both great films and you should really just watch both.

 

Oh, well the decision is which do I watch FIRST, because I already plan to watch both.

 

Castle In the sky should come first. Mainly cuz they're both great films but save the best for last... right?

 

Also, Castle in the Sky was released first so chronologically ...

 

I assume someone had a castle fetish.

No matter how true it is the rule is to save the BEST for LAST.

 

Castle in the Sky is a classic. I say watch it first. Then, watch Howl's Moving Castle. You can maybe even compare the two if you like doing something like that. I just feel that you should respect the classics.
