KHV users have created the next Kh enemy, Desouls. how does it look when they die?

How should it look when a Desoul dies?

    I have been working together with StarSeeker99, Kme92, and others to create the next KH enemy. We are almost done! what we need now is to decide on how it looks when the desouls die. before you vote please read about what the desoul is. the topic can be found in the birth by sleep section. the name is "Create the next kingdom hearts enemy (group effort)" the tags are: enemies, enemy creation, game, kingdom hearts.

    The ideas listed after 9 are ideas listed for other.

    The following is the ideas we thought up so far (Idea number 8 on this list I forgot to add so just make a post and say number 8. please do the same for any ideas after number 9):

    1 - Going up in flames (of any color)

    2 - Turning to dust that is quickly taken by the wind

    3 - Simply vanish quickly (like in the KH games)

    4 - Disappearing instantly, during a single frame

    5 - Evaporating (like the Organisation members)

    6 - Turning into a sort of gas which quickly dissipates

    7 - Stay motionless for a few seconds, becoming more and more transparent

    8 - Shattering like glass (Like the monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh)

    9 - Other (please specify)

    10 - They explode with a high amount of light emitting. *ShiningDreams idea*

    11 - Quick explosion with flames *StarSeeker99's idea*

    12 - Have it's Elements of Life Visually Seperate (Heart, Body, Soul), then being Swallowed up by a Portal Underneath. *Brexen's idea*

    All the idea's here before 9, except 2, were StarSeeker99's ideas
    #2 was my idea

    personally I like the first Idea

    below is the look for the most common desoul. we are still working on it. The design was based on the idea that a desoul is similar to a flickering candle (more info on that is in the original thread).

    Going up in flames sounds the coolest to me, but that seems like Axel's death and if you want something more origional, (unless I've forgotten and it was used in a Kingdom Hearts game), turning to dust that is quickly taken by the wind, is my second choice.

    Which game is this for? xD Birth by Sleep has Unbirths last time I checked. And I don't remember the other thing being one word. Plus this might be the wrong section. *votes anyways*

    Hooray, you made the Poll!

    I gotta say, Replicloudstrife came up with a great idea. I'm the one who thought of those types of death, but it never occured to me that we could use several at once.

    I voted "Going up in Flames", because it sounds cool, and we could also have different flame colors depending on the enemy.

    Mixing the flaming and the shattering death would look nice as well. The shards light up!

    I like the Shatter into glass, start to burn diff colors, and then start to evaporate slowly.......

    ya, but it would be really cool, imagine it, "Oh no you beat me with your keyblade and now im dead" *Shatters into a bunch of glass-like pieces* *the glass-like pieces start to burn in diffrent colors* *and finally they turn to dust and blow away in the wind*
    (I ment the dust one, not the dissolve like org members)

    You should combine them together......i think that it would be awsome....actually, any of them mixed together would be awsome, wait, what if you mixed all of them together, wow, that would be excesive, wouldn't it?

    Here's my idea, which is really being made from combining your ideas. First, they go up in flame (any color) that shatters and the pieces fall to the ground and they stay motionless for a few seconds, becoming more and more transparent.
    ...it's a very long death though.

    The problem with combining ideas is that the death will take too long. even number 2 would probably be a bit excessive unless it was done all at once. the death should be fast so that the player won't get distracted while fighting. the flames would have to burn up fast. we should try to be consistent here with the other kingdom hearts enemy deaths. consistency is key to games.

    What if the desouls weren't the major enemy, like the heartless, and found everywhere, more powerful versions of the heartless and were like bosses instead....?

    That would be pretty amazing...except for it getting boring after you kill a lot of them in a row, well like anyone actually pays attention when they kill a weak heartless...lol
