Yes. Minuscule. It means exactly the same thing as "miniscule," but it's spelled correctly.

Well, it's good to know you have the grammar thing down. That's a valued aspect in today's modern society.

I don't know if that's really valued in today's society. It probably is.

    10 point ethos penalty.
    Reason: Redundant language

How is it redundant? There was a modern society in the 1950's, and before and after that as well. Modern society alone could be referring to a large quantity of previous modern society's, including yesterdays.

"Modern" generally refers to the current era. If it is used to refer to a different era, that era should be alluded to in some way. Also:
    Ethos penalty: 20 points.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. This secret is a secret. And I'm going let you know it. This secret, that is a secret, is such a secret, you're the only person (along with anyone who reads this) who can know it. That secretive secret is . . . you're ethos scale doesn't bother me. So don't bother scoring me anymore, and that includes taking away and giving "ethos" points.

    How's that for redundant, eh?

Look at it very carefully. If you know the word "buffalo" like I do, you'll find that my post is actually a coherent sentence.

Not seeing it. The only thing I'm seeing is the variances in capitalization of the word "buffalo."

That's the key. You see, Buffalo is a city in upstate New York. Furthermore, "buffalo" is a verb that means, "to bully." A buffalo is also an animal, which I'm sure you know. I'll leave you to puzzle it out with those clues.

So, it's like a coded message using the varying meanings of a single word.

If this is the case, could you at least give me the decoded version of one of the "buffalo's" to start with? It doesn't matter where. Beginning, middle, or end.

The second "buffalo" is a plural form of the animal. Oh, I also forgot to mention that the adjective form of "Buffalo," meaning "from the city of Buffalo," is also "Buffalo."

Okay, so I kind of get it. Buffalo (city) buffalo (plural) from Buffalo bullying buffalo (plural) buffalo (singular) from Buffalo buffalo (plural).

This is just a once over attempt. Is it close?

You are very close! The intended meaning is:

"Bison (another word for the animal, buffalo) from Buffalo, New York, who are bullied by other bison in their community, also happen to bully other bison in their community.

Of course, it's nearly impossible to get this without an almost perfect understanding of English syntax and the various meanings of the word "buffalo." I didn't get it at first either.

Cool. I forgot about Bison, so I was just using the ones you gave me.

Also, why do I want to hit the gym right now?
