Yeesh, this is gonna be difficult. I'm surprised you didn't do Christmas music.

 

I don't see how this will be difficult lol, there is a huge magnitude of song choices. However, I vote we do a Christmas edition of KHVI straight after this one. I've already got my song picked out and e'rrythang.

 

I thought about doing a Christmas theme, but I figured we'd be doing that for KHV Chorus.

I was wondering that myself, since there are so many modern recordings of pre-70s songs

 

Remakes are fine. Like, You Are My Sunshine was written in the 1930s but I'm not gonna stop you singing the Johnny Cash version or whatever.

Did you have a specific song you wanted to do?

 

There was one in mind; I couldn't find the exact day it was written. It's a Broadway song, which did open in in 1970, so I would figure it had to have been written some time before it premiered.

No worries though. I quickly realized that there were no instrumentals I really liked for it, and I have another song in mind that meets the criteria.

I just figured it's good to ask in case others were wondering the same thing.
