Hmm, I suppose that could work, but its very limiting to final fantasies that have those themes (idk maybe its been a while but I dont think all the games have one) and also limits entrants to those who know the songs. I dunno, maybe if we combine it with KH or we just leave it as is so we have more of a variety of songs to choose from.

I'd like to see Mashup Mayhem as a theme

 

Interesting...but what songs qualify for the theme? We have to also make sure there are a lot of songs out there that are easy for people to find instrumentals to...

 

I don't know if it's a given or not, but what about free-for-all pick your own song like the first one?
Because I don't think that was ever suggested to become a common thing or not, but yeah thought i'd say.

 

We will have a freestyle theme every now and then, but I will add it to the list :)

 

well, many of the songs that are done in Glee are mashups. In fact a good example is 'Its My Life/Confessions', I'm not sure what episode its from, but thats one of the ones they did

 

Hey all! I need your opinion on something: Would a Duet theme be too difficult? It would work the same in terms of mixing, and then both singers get the same points, but would it be too difficult to organise among yourselves?

I'll put it in as a maybe until I hear some opinions...

 

I think a duet shouldn't be too difficult. o: The peeps doing i would just have to split up the lines between themselves. Or an alternative to that is maybe have a few select songs out with the lines divided already, and if people want to sign up to claim one they could just message you and submit their lines when done (if they aren't mixing that is).

granted i never participate in this because me singing = hAH but just jotting down some thoughts~

 

I think it's doable, i could organise my own but not sure about anyone else.

I was gonna suggest this elsewhere but I would like to see a Michael Jackson theme. o: I mean, he's amazing and so many top popular songs to choose from. But I dunno how people would feel about that. ><

What I'm thinking is that people can organise their own duets, songs, lines, and I'll mix if they need me to
The alternative is a signup thread, where I pair up people who have signed up, and then they pick a song. Then they send me their song, and I'll mix if need be. Idk, I think the first one would work better but I'm still working it out lol
