Kingdom Hearts II KHIII For The PS3? Hell No

In reality the PS3's price is very reasonable. They can't have pushed it down any further, or else Sony's gaming department would go out of business. It costs $842.12 exactly to make a PS3, so Sony is losing money for each PS3, but they make it up in the games. This means u save $242.12 for a PS3, when u buy it.

As far as KH3 for the PS3 goes... it only make sense. Square sold its rights to the KH series to Sony, a while back, and PS3 being the best system will in the end make the game better. And it definately won't come out for PS2... they will stop making PS2 games very soon, seeing the growing demand for PS3 games. I doubt the next KH game will come out within the next 3-5 years anyways, so most people wont even know where to find a PS2, to play it, haha. Yes, I said 3-5 years. Why? It took Square Enix 4 yrs after KH to make KH2, and seeing as how much harder it is to live up to the nex-gen graphics, I expect it to take longer.

As for it being on the Wii... It is a good idea, with the wiimote and all, but u also have to remember that the PS3 has their own type of "Wiimote" as well. It is called the Sixaxis controller. This also allows u motion sensored gameplay, in some games, and would be just as easy to control the Keyblade with, if not easier.

As far as the Xbox goes... lol.

 

As much as I would LOVE for KHIII to go multi-platform, so that everyone can have fun with it, the ultimate decision is up to Square. I hate to say it, but, Square always or almost always goes single-platform. It's up to Square, making their decision based on who they feel like taking money from.:( Oh well.

On the bright side, however, there should be an adequate price drop on the PS3 by the time KHIII is released. Just look at how low the PS2 went. I got my SLIM version for $130.You'd expect the slim to be more costly than that right? I mean, the hours it takes to complete the KH games are steadily increasing, right?
I say this because it took me about 35 - 40 hours to beat KH 1.
About 38 - 42 hours for CoM, and 50 - 60 hours for KHII.
All that gameplay takes time to make, right?
Plus, such graphics to be expected from PS3 will slap on another few months in production time, right?
And, the game engine should be improving, right?!
EVEN MORE MONTHS!!!!!
But, alas, we can only hope Square makes the right decision.:o

 

Well ps3 are't so good i think they wont sell that much proambeley.

 

It's not so much that PS3's aren't good. In fact, the opposite is true. They are awesome, besides the fact that all the games out for them suck. They are just too expensive for normal people to buy.

 

Well, I think it would be better in PS3, cause it might cost A LOT, yeah, but it is worth it. When the good games start coming out, it will be a must for everybody. And, they could just make it wait for a while in square- enix, so that the price -inevitably- falls to a half or 3/4 and gets more approachable. Yeah. And, if it comes out in wii or 360, sony will lose its advantage and probably new khs will come out in different consoles every time. This will be bad if it gets to be sth like the ffs that are MILLIONS. So I say PS3:)

 

many people will buy the ps3 when Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII come out... those games will be good, i can tell. Heck, I'm getting 1 for that.

I think it'll end up going on the PS3 really. I mean, using the Keyblade with a Wii controller sounds cool but it'll be feel awkward.

 

No offence to anyone or anything like that but it will be for PS3, mark my words.
P.S. offence to those who like the Wii; its graphics suck.

 

Even though I wouldnt realy expect kh3 or any sort of port with grapical downgrade on the wii, you can imagine the fun of using the wii mote as a keyblade... ( posibly, in a spin off nomura could put this on the wii, like chain of memories was on gba....)

 

i can see how some people might think it would be cool on the wii but me....NO!


the only way i would play it on the wii is if it wasn't using the wiimote to control the keyblade

if was on the wii then this how i would like it

use analog stick to move,use the trigger on the wiimote and the trigger on the nunchuk to move camera left and right,if there was reaction commands then you do kind of a like combo of pressing B and A on the wiimote and do like some kinda "SHAKE" with the wiimote,use the d-pad to choose spells and well
i think you get it


i don't know maybe if some of the major fans that really like the wiimote keyblade idea then you could choose to switch controls around.


all in all "hmm.. did i say that right?"
i would really like to see the ps3's price go down


the soonest i could probably get one would be next christmas not this christmas

Thank you for establishing that you only play games to look at them & not to actually play them. If your saying the Wii sucks simply because of its graphics, you don't know video games period.

 

that makes my mood drop. unfortunatly. i would not buy khIII for ps3 because i dont feel like paying about $600 for a ps3 for 1 game. if it comes out later when the ps3 is cheaper and better, probably.

What I think Is they should just keep It at ps2 I mean the other two have been on ps2 and I really cant be stuffed trying to find the money for a ps3. Maybe a wii but some people dont even know what they are so keep It at ps2!!

It wont be on ps3, well it might be but they arent sure yet because they cant be stuffed doing the stuff for the ps3 so they probably will keep It at ps2

 

I would'nt like khlll on the wii personally, the ps3 is fine (exept for the steep price tag) and It would be great relief to fans to have it on ps2, but I would like it on ps2, psp, ps3 with a graphical enhancment to the maximum level. The xbox 360 fans most probably dont have much of a chance, sorry:D . (Could be wrong though)...

 

I'm worried that that PS3 will even last long enough to get to that rosy future. It seems like everyday there's some new problem coming from Sony's camp. First off the console may be new expensive for us but its too cheap for Sony. I mean they sell Blue Ray players for $1000 but something that's a Blue Ray plus a game system is almost half that cost. They're either underrcosting the PS3 severely or overcosting the dedicated players to make the PS3 look like the cheap alternative. Either way, I don't see how exactly the players are suppose to actually sell.

That's the main problem, but there's also the reduced BC for Europe PS3s, the small number of shipped units at launch (also adding that Wiis are currently sold out & PS3s aren't despite the numbers), the half a billion dollars in exploding laptop batteries, numerous game specific problems (Warhawk's multiplayer only now, GTA's going to the 360 etc.) & the PR guys shoot themselves in the foot everytime they open their mouths. The Dreamcast sure didn't have this many problems.

 

There is so much that you can do on the ps3 for this game, Its going to be amazing(and don't think you will have to wait 3-4 years either they want to get this game out).
