Kingdom Hearts II KHIII For The PS3? Hell No

The worst decision Tetsuya Nomura could make at present time would be to start working on the KHIII beta game for the PS3. The PS3 is going to be a blown system unless it somehow becomes more marketable to the casual gamer. It would be in Square's best interests to start working on KHIII, if they do, for the Wii. This may shift in the future, depending on the direction of the price of the PS3, but for now Wii or XBox 360 (doubtful, as Square and Microsoft have a very low-key partnership) would be the smartest choices to make. Wiis are selling by the boatload. PS3s are still sitting on shelves, unsold. I even saw 3 at a GAMESTOP, a GAMESTOP, in New York City. XBox 360 is undoubtedly going to win the console war. You cand eny it, but it will.

So now we wait to see what system it will be for. Facts implicate Wii. I hope so. PS3 would be a bad idea. It's time to play another KH waiting game.

But if KH3 went on the PS3, more people would start buying the PS3.

People have complained about the DS and would rather have some of the DS games for the GBA, but people bought the DS anyway and played DS games.

 

The only problem with the PS3 is the price. In reality, it is the best console, but selling it for half a thousand dollars makes it the worst.

I agree it should be made for the Wii. Maybe even PS2. :)

they should make it for ps2 and wii becuase when you swing on a wii you swing the keyblade and all i have is a ps2 if they dont make atleast one for ps2 ill be depressed.

 

Yeah, I agree for KH3 to be on Wii.

Wii is cool and all...but....I would want it for the 360....IMO its the best console out of all of the....nice online features....ps3's online isnta as feature rich....and wii just seems like a bad idea...has horrible graphics from what i have seen.....(looks like gamecube gfx to me)

 

Oh man, if they made KHIII for Wii, I'd beg for a Wii.

1-360 is an online console.
the 360 has none if any RPG games. 360 is more of an online game console. remember: MICROSOFT. they made their console because many games in the pc suck! so its their way of making the games that in the pc would ruin.

2-Wii has a 1st party game called Twilight Princess. Like KH, TP is unique. Why should we steal that uniqueness from them.The wiimote for a keyblade. give me a break! LoZ: TP uses the wiimote for the sword. making kh3 like that will loose the originality part.

3-PS3 is made for bigger capacity games. If they made TP for the PS3, the world would be much bigger allowing the player to get more of the elf. Making KH3 in this console would expand the worlds so that when you exit a map, the loading screen would disappear. Also making the characters more refined and have them move like real ppl on all the scenes. Avoidint the South-park effect; just placing "picture face parts" and moving them n not showing feeling. the PS3 will make the game more matured and if it was on the Wii, the censored parts will kill the game. hopefully the sequel will be uncensored and possibly reciving a T that will make teens get in touch with ol' buddies.

4-the ps2 is comming to it's obliteration. Slow as hell but it it's dying. kh3 on the ps2 would save it from extintion but all the goodies that the ps3 offers will be gone...

that's what i think. NO offense to the 360 and Wii lovers cuz aight?

I agree. The only good thing would be graphics if it were on the PS3. At least put it ont he 360. Better yet, the wii. Wiimote as Keyblade? yes please.


The Wii has outsold the PS3 by a long shot. If TN puts it on the PS3, he deserves a slap across the face.

 

I agree with keyblader of a nobody, having this game on Wii wouldn't make sense. We have The Legend of Zelda on the Wii which is pretty much Kingdom Hearts, it's basically just stamping on the name "Kingdom Hearts" and adding a command menu. Some people also don't understand that the Wii doesn't have 1:1 motion sensing moves. It can't detect if your holding your arm out or holding it with two hands, the movements would be EXTREMELY similar to Twilight Princess, which is why this wouldn't work out. On the other hand a 360version could work out...

I'd rather have it on ps3 than wii, for me, it would ruin the gameplay.
If PS3 does not manage to sell itself more, im guessing PS2 might survive more then PS1 survived when PS2 cam out.

 

PS3's arn't selling because they didn't have any good launch titles, but by this time next year people will have them like they do PS2's. square will never release a KH game for any other system besides a playstation system. the reason for that is that it is one of their best games that makes them ALOT of money and as for the 360, sony and microsoft arn't that friendly with each other so never expect to see a game made by square-enix on any of their systems. as for the wii if they had common sense they would just release it on the PS2 because they both have the same graphics engine ( thats why the wii dosn't cost as much as the PS3 and 360 ) and they would make more money since it's on their own consol and they wouldn't have to split the money with nintendo

( and if your thinking square will release it for a nintendo system because FF3 went to th DS instead of the PSP then well your wrong. the only reason it went to the DS was because the PSP don't have many games people like to play so people buy DS instead )

 

This guy is smart. However I don't agree on the part that PS3 will sell as much as the ps2. The cost still does have implications even though the relesae games did too.

 

Personally, I have all the video game systems I want right now, or ever will want. If KH3 comes out for PS3 or Wii, I'll buy the systems for it, but I really don't want to have to.

My vote? Keep it on PS2.

 

sony has a good strategy, low supply means high demands ( basically that means not many PS3's means people will pay hundreds and even thousands of dollars for one, i mean ebay used to be crazy about it )

sony more than likely will lower their price this spring to that of the 360's ( never count on it being to the price of the wii )
