    Whats so stupid about that?

They could change it to Riku! The only abilities he has now are Dark Shield, Dark Firaga (sometimes called Dark Aura) and fighting skills.

We could say he lost his power when he returned to the light of Destiny Islands.

Who in the world wants to go through an entire game as Riku exclusively? I mean sure, I loved Reverse/Rebirth. But Chain Of Memories was a side-game, tying the knots between KH1 and KH2. A KH3 without Sora probably wouldn't even sell adequately.

I like the idea of seeing Sora and his two friends relaxing on DI fishing and what not, eating candy bars and being lazy. Maybe they have little pot bellies and have to work them off and do some Rocky thing where they get to working out etc with Eye of the Tiger playing in the background. This amuses me greatly.

The other way would be the way others have suggested...that we just won't know why the character became such a wuss again.

And the final way is that Sora ends up getting sucked into this other world where his powers don't work right because of some lame excuse and he has to work his way up to earn them back because of the new weird reality.

Lastly, he ends up on the space station in 'The Black Hole" Disney movie rendition and his powers get pulled into the black hole. But somehow he doesn't, of course, or maybe he does...and that's how he ends up having to learn his abilities over again.

Maybe they'd be smart and let you use Kairi first off so that she can get abilities and not be worthless and then switch characters to Sora or Riku. Then Sora would not have to be totally wussified. Any way, fun topic!

It's KH3. It won't come out for another few years. Of course it hasn't been confirmed.

I could imagine that too. :laughing-smiley-004:roll:

Just imagine this video but with Destiny Island as the backround.

Riku would be the one playing the tamborines!

    Ok, back too topic...

If KH3 features Sora as the hero, it probably would, then he will be powered down.

But Nomura said that Sora's story wasn't over yet. After these three games, Sora will be in the next game, which is obviously KH3. Of course, even if Sora's in it, he might not be playable; for all we know he could be playing "damsel" in distress and you play as Riku trying to save him. Yes, yes, this is just an exaggeration. I know Nomura isn't stupid enough to make a KH story even close to something like that. I still think Sora will be the main character of KH3.

I'm sure Sora will have to have some form of rescuing, like in the end of KH2.

This post is wrong, in both points. Birth by Sleep is not Kingdom Hearts 3. Thats a very common misconception.

In KH 1, hes 14, so he would be 4 during Birth by Sleep. I thought everyone knew that... guess not.

Sora probably is going to be in KH3... since Nomura doesnt seem done with him yet.

Hmm... It'll probably be unexplained. I would like to play as Kairi and Riku in some part of the adventure though...

Wha-Wha-What?!!! It is my dream to play as Riku! Chain of memories wasn't that fun cuz of the non-3-Dish theme to it, and Riku wasn't that fun to play as. Riku isn't taken seriously, they need to give him WAY more power then they do. Riku dosn't seem like a light person really, so it would be stupid to change him in kingdom hearts III.

See what I mean. They should make a game with Riku as the hero, just to keep all the Riku fangirls and boys happy.

Even I would rather play as Riku than Sora.

Heh, maybe Kairi will have magic abilities, but when you play as Sora HE'LL have them instantly.

sora has never done magic within a cutscene, meaning its arguable that sora's magic never existed, as its only an asset within the gameplay of the kingdom hearts series (like using potions and such). I know its a stretch, but u have to admit its true.

secondly, sora looses his abilities from the previous game, but still fights better than he fought in the previous games. This means that sora doesnt "powerdown" he gains "room for improvement." One way or the other, he might forget his abilities in kh3 from kh2, but hes still going to be faster/stronger/etc than he was in kh2 and kh1

Thumbs down on that idea XD besides, game companies focus more on their own plans and stories rather than the annoying cries of no-life fanboys and fangirls. besides, Kingdom hearts is Sora's story, as stated by Nomura before. A KH game going further on in time without Sora would be pointless and just fail.

Besides, Riku fulfilled his role already anyways. ¦D As for Kairi, as long as she looks even better int he next game, they can do whatever. XD If she's gonna be able to fight, she better be 1. TRAINED by one of the FF girls. 2. Not get captured all the time and 3. ...Get a less girly keyblade then the fruitylicious one Riku gave her XDD

Hey hey, don't misunderstand me now. A game with Riku solely is fine, but Kingdom Hearts III, the CONTINUATION of a Sora-centered series should have Sora. Not Riku only. Get it?

Riku? No power? Check the cutscenes. He gets slammed in CoM the whole time because he's afraid to draw on his power. When he sees the vision of Kairi, he realizes that he can use the darkness without using Ansem. That's when he owned Zexion, and later, Ansem. In KH2, he was one of the most reckoned with forces. He beat Roxas by calling on his power, and saved Sora's sorry you-know-what three times during the Final Xemnas battle. If Riku was any stronger, the story would have to be centered on him.

But he talks about using and learning it in several cutscenes. He even argued with Donald once that he knew more than him.

He may not be a wizard character. But he knows magic.
