Taking out green goo isn't really censoring it, just changing it slightly.

Keep in mind of these: KH II is a lot less censored than the first two games.How so?I didn't see any 'Hydra Blood' or pistols in the first game. >>

You guys are also forgetting that those are factors that were in the movies the world is based on.Hey,Disney put Hydra Blood in the movie.They put a LOT of it in the move.
And Pirates of the Caribbean?Come on.Square didn't get that detailed with the skeletons.In fact,there was a lot of blood in the movie.And death.Not so much in the game.>>

Bottom Line: KH II is somewhat already less censored than the first,and it is partly because of the movies in it.

I mean,imagine fighting the Hydra and whenever you chopped off one of its heads CANDY came out instead of the green blood.Or whenever you killed a pirate,flowers would replace the floating pieces of skeleton.See,that is what they didn't do.They knew people in the older section of age would want more violence.And they gave it to them,but not too much as to scar the kids in the younger age section.

 

So green blood is good, but red is BAAAAD?
A crossbow is good, but an actual gun is bad?

See, I don't see the reason to censor something by like 0.5%, all it would do is just cause global gamers to piss and moan about it like we're doing right NOW!!!

They didn't put blood in it because they didn't need blood. The skeletons weren't detailed because this is a PS2. They didn't crumple to bones because that would just be stupid.

 

The skeletons were still detailed,but not as much as the movie.They probably didn't crumple the bones because it either 1.)Took too much time, 2.)Prolly wouldn't even be seen anyway,or 3.)Because it would probably distract the player from the fight.

 

Children would be very shocked to see their hero,Sora,cussing and junk?
If they do this,they may lose alot of business.....

In any case, I don't think they'd make it uncensored. One, it basically ruins Disney's image. Pirates of the Carribean isn't even technically Disney, it was sold to another movie company.

Also, it'd be dragging into an unknown fanbase, basically. They would have to probably restructure the entire marketing scheme. *majoring in Business*
