John scratched his head and sighed. THen atleast can I join your group? HE asked.

 

"Just don't hurt Valerie, then you can stay.", Eden said.

 

Who said that I would hurt anyone? He said.

 

"I've learned through my life to be careful... You never know when someone might betray you... Hey, can you fight?", Eden asked.

 

He smiled and nodded. Of course. WHy would I be here now if I can't fight? HE said.

 

"Cause right now... There's a bit of a war.", Eden said as she laughed nervously.

 

John nodded. I heard. He said.

 

"Yeah, well...", Eden said while she sat next to John."Do you protect someone?", she asked.

 

I used to protect other people before they then found their family. Now I only protect Rhia. He said stroking his cat and Tete.

 

"I protect Valerie. She and I are very close, almost sisters. We're not related as family, but it seems that way.", Eden said.

 

John smiled. I guess that's a good thing that you are protecting someone. He said and sighed.

 

"If I didn't, I would still be on our home world, hiding from society.", Eden said.

 

John nodded. I heard you came from Earth? He asked.

 

"That's right. I lived with my family on Earth... But now I live in my own house which used to belong to my nobody. But I usually come here.", Eden said.

 

John nodded. That's good to hear.

 

Eden nodded. It's good to be here..., she thought.

 

Rhia then jumped into John's hood and slept in there while he just the stood up to look outside.

 

The rain had stopped from the night before. Eden yawned again and started to stroke at Tete's fur.

 

John checked his watch and then looked around before rentering the house and sitting down on the floor thinking.
