Nox and Xert had disaperd when exel kicked Nox. Teh two were at a pond 4 miles away. Xert threw a bomb into it.

Kars heard, "every one hold your breath! turn off the game."

 

Exel appeared on front of Nox. I'm not done with you yet. He said as a clone dived into the pond to retrieve the bomb.

 

The bomb went off. A hole was blown in the cilein of the cave. Kars and Haven. began swiming to the surface.

Nox grabed Exel and broke both is arms in the blink of an eye.

 

Exel fell to the ground in pain. He then stood up and then slowly with one arm he took out a sword.

Egrabbed the others and jumped out of the secret hole and into the passageway as the room was caved in.

 

nox gave him a blank stare, 'doesn't it hurt?"
Kars and Haven came out of the pond. With a gasp of air.

 

Yes it does. He managed to say. But not enough compared to what I had lost 15 years ago. He said and lifted his sword. and I don't want to feel the same pain ever again. He said and then ran over to Nox and slashed at him.

 

He doghed by a small movement, 'but who do you fight for? Who gives you your orders?"
Xert saw Kars and Haven and began shooting at them. Haven used a spell to block the bullets.

 

I fight for my friends, and I don't take orders just to protect. He said and then tore off his bandages to show a black eye with a grey center. Even if I have to use it.

 

Nox was confused, "Dosen't every one take orders?" Nox could seace the darkness. Darkness is increasing at a rate quick rate but at his limit he will only be 11/12 compared to my full darkness. Plus I am still more powerful. I have an advatage of 87%.

 

Exel now could tell Nox too was decieved. It doesn't matter if you do take orders, it's your life and your story, not someone else's He said as darkness was now growing under him.

 

"What if your life and your story belong to someone elce like in a book," Nox asked.

 

Eden had gotten everyone up from the pond and swam to the surface rather quickly. She set them down on dry land and looked at Exel. "Exel! What are you doing?!", Eden yelled worridly, feeling the darkness growing.

 

If you really wanted to be free from a book, better dead then alive as a book. He said as his hands was engulfed into darkness.

 

Eden walked next to Exel. She looked at Nox with icy eyes. She was ready to pounce, but she stayed in the pouncing position.

 

He looked at Eden with his black eye. Let me handle this. He said to her.

 

Eden stepped back at the sight of Exel's eye, but shook her head and stayed by his side. "No one can do anything alone.", Eden said. "And besides, this is what I write in my story."

 

Nox didn't react, "are you saying that to be free means death?" He was rather confused.

 

THat is how I live, but I still have a story to write, which means not yet can I die. He said and smiled at Eden.

 

"And as long as the stories that my friends write are alive, still being written, then my story is alive, and I will fight for my friends.", Eden said.

 

"I don't under stand," Nox said.
