They are not the same unless you use a very flawed idea of intelligence that includes academic memorization as processing power (like the guys who started the Enlightenment). They are two separate categories. Think of them as knowledge and the ability to use that knowledge efficiently.

I still suggest Best Non-Staff Contributor and would like to add my vote to the Best Debater list.

The Best Critic and Most Helpful awards are identical other than wording, so I am not sure why you kept Most Helpful (in a section) but not the other.

I still think that Most Adorable should be on there. We still have Most Beautiful, so why not?

 

I can't really do this because if we added something like 'Most Knowledgeable about Pokemon' (just tossing in something random), people would start to say "WELL I WANT MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HARRY POTTER" and it would just end up being chaos. I wouldn't mind doing Biggest Otaku, though, as GS suggested.

Most Knowledgeable about Kingdom Hearts is of course an exception because this is a Kingdom Hearts site.

While these aren't bad in any sense, I just think it's getting a bit too out there--we can't really have an award for every adjective.

Well we have Most Underrated atm, I feel like Most Trivial would end in people just finding random ass accounts to nominate. :L It's hard to gauge something like unimportance? lol. Plus that's kind of mean.
Some things are separated into male and female but I don't think everything would benefit from it.
What if we just added Best Overall Member (no mind to usergroup)? I'm actually kind of shocked it's not on there already, and would imply a good personality.
How about one Most Active award?
Stalker is in the rejected pile.

It is not a redundant suggestion, seriousness aside.

There was last year? Or maybe it was "Hottest" or "Most Attractive" or something. For each gender.

Although, I believe something similar to this has already been denied?

 

The problem that I see with most knowledgeable about Kingdom Hearts is that some people who know a ton about the series don't really post in those sections. Sometimes, you can't really tell if someone knows a lot about the series just by looking at the threads they make and such. If there were a better way to gauge their knowledge (like a quiz, though it'd be quite a hassle to make a quiz just for this one occasion), then I'd be a little less skeptical.

 

There's always Hottest but that is our blanket category for "who do you find physically good looking."

Both are already up there.

This is true but the user awards are meant to be a cumulative type dealio; they're rewarding people's posts and attitudes throughout the year. Doing a KH quiz separately would defs be fun though.

Okay, so why is adorable being rejected? It is not a physical trait alone, and it is not sexual in nature, while "hottest" is clearly sexual.

 

There should be a Little League Award, where everybody gets an award (read: pin).

 

Looking at the Maybe pile, I am for a Most Likely to Be On Staff category.

Also on the topic of Most Adorable, I think it could work if we're judging 'adorableness' on posts rather than appearance.

"Adorableness" can be easily judged not on appearance but on personality, reactions, and behaviour. I am supportive of Most Adorable under these circumstances.

Whoa uh I just had a look at the Rejected pile

and it's a lot bigger than I expected? Like a bunch of those ideas look pretty good and there seems to be no explanation for their rejection. Did I miss some chatter in the last thread where we weren't supposed to be talking about that?
