KH-Vids Royale: Remake [chapter #11]

OK I've found all the threads and compiled this information:

- There is a group named Jumping Rooftops
- There is a group named The Black Hand
- Freddie, Devin, and The Whistle Blower are involved with Jumping Rooftops, but I don't think anyone has been called out with the Black Hand although Cat-Like Thief is the only account to post about the Black Hand out of all three
- Jumping Rooftops is about preserving and saving the earth ("Mother Earth") and the environment
- Apparently Devin, Freddie, and The Whistle Blower are here to save us - maybe us means the members of KH-Vids in the Royale? I still don't even know if this is KHVR related.

If and how this ties into KH-Vids Royale, I don't know...

Black Hand where the name of the group responsible for the assassination of Franz Ferdinand the archduke of austro-hungary which pretty much was the final trigger in starting WW1

 

There is one in the Spam Zone called 2 days... the others I just searched Jumping Rooftops for. Just search Jumping Rooftops I guess.

EDIT: Yeah Vivi, I noticed that. I wonder if it ties into this at all...

What about "Jumping Rooftops"? I'm going to do a google on it now.

EDIT 2: Quickly googled it - it's the name of a few books and more importantly an Angels & Airwaves song which is a band that Alex really likes. I'm going to listen to it and see if I can get anything out of it about Devin, Freddie, etc. Worth a try, I guess?

I searched Cat like thief and it's the name of a Boxcar Racer song, another band alex loves, and Cat like thief was like the first name he posted as..

 

Okay, here are a few things I noticed:

- Cat-Like Thief is a song by Box Car Racer as you said, and the lead singer/songwriter is the same in both bands BCR and AVA
- According to this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box_car_racer the name of BCR is "from the B-29 Bomber which dropped the second wartime atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan. The plane's name was "Bockscar". Tom has said in an interview that he had seen the name misspelled as "Boxcar", and thusly, dubbed the band under that name for their music and lyrics pertaining heavily to love and war" - what if KHVR ends with another country bombing the island? It said in chapter 2 that the world was watching, and I doubt other countries are happy with this
- on the topic of "The Whistle Blower": "A whistleblower is an employee, former employee, or member of an organization, especially a business or government agency, who reports misconduct to people or entities that have the power and presumed willingness to take corrective action"
- Finally, I don't know how to start getting info on Freddie or Devin, since these are common ordinary names although I guess it should be noted that Freddie is usually spelled Freddy, but I think I'm going crazy if I'm going to look into mispellings

Well I think we've pretty much reached the brink on what we can come up with so far.

Maybe tomorrow will bring a new thread that could get us started, but I think right now we need to get other people to read our posts and become involved as well. They'll probably end up reading them when chapter 8 comes out and they check up on the latest posts to see what they missed.

 

Well, the 1 day thread kind of gave me more questions and no answers.

It was interesting that it included a link to the White House website: www.whitehouse.gov.

We knew the government was involved already, though.

 

Yes of course the government is most definitely involved with this fictional story based on members of a KH forum. ​

 

Well, someone could be a spy for the Government?

And call me crazy but ever since I read the lighthouse part something's been lingering in the back of my mind. I know Roxas/Alex is basing this off a movie which admittedly I have not seen but...how did I know what do to in the lighthouse? It's just kind of strange that I would know to barricade the doors and board up the windows. Most girls I know would have huddled together hoping they weren't found. My character knows what she is doing.

It was almost like Fox's character in The Hole. Since his character has had military training, he's the one that puts into place the food ration system out of what they have among other things.

Course Fox's character gets his head smashed in over a can of soda in the end. <_>

Speculation is fun isn't it?

 

At least fictionally, we know that the government ordered this to be done. Also, Whistle Blower means someone employed but on the inside, right? He was the one that posted the link to the government White House.

Seriously, tomorrow better do some explaining.

 

Oh my God. The story finally regained what the original had. Boris is such a well created character in this remake. All the scenes with him were so real and clever. The outcast, the pathetic loser, now has a gun. The story finally found a foothold to work on, because honestly, I wasn't drawn in until there was more focus on Boris. The scenes with him and Soushirei were so rad. Jesus I can't wait for the new chapter tonight.

I found this one a bit confusing, but meh. It was a good chapter and I think it was more exciting than some of the previous ones. Very good ;D

Seriously this is like the best one yet, and unless I do some crazy ass **** in the next chapter (I know im in it) I think it'll be my favourite of the whole story, it was kick ass.
