oh the dress up elements of the game are not lost on me, though I was always partial to the default robes. dug the light training gear for, uh, purely aesthetic reasons; i mostly used the corellian flight suit, and i remember a lot of very assassin's creed looking outfits.

and let's not forget guybrush threepwood.

My thoughts on TFU: Fun, albeit stupid in enemy design. Level design I found to be stellar. But god, the engine is most amazing thing in that game. Why was it never licensed out?

 

I like the PS2/PSP version better because it has more missions and it is longer than the PC/Console versions (Without DLC)

True. I guess each version has it's downsides.

 

As I remember it, it was a mishmash of a few different engines and they did a lot of work in getting them to work well with one another. I can't imagine other devs would be eager to take that on compared to whatever they use in-house or something more standard (like Unreal). I'm with you, the gameplay and physics and destruction are all really satisfying.

 

The problem with the PS2 version, which I didn't know at the time when I got it, was that it was a hallway. People complain about Final Fantasy XIII, but this thing had enough room to move 2 steps to the left and right and that was it, not too mention you could literally keep smashing the attack button and you'd keep going, with the enemies just blocking you till the world ends. It was nice having the levels in the Jedi Temple, but that was it
