(im gonna be a senior if no one minds)
Mindy pulls up into the school parking lot, in her usual spot. one more year...thank goodness. She gets out and makes her way into the building. people are still busy catching up from the summer break. Mindy heads to her given locker and starts getting her books.

 

"Oi, Mindy!" David yells down the hall.
(OOC: We're both seniors, so I know ya XP)

Mindy looks over at David. "Hey, what's up?" Why does he have to yell? its so embara.ssing.

 

"I haven't seen ya all summer, where you been?" David says, walking up to her.

 

"you know, around." you didnt even bother calling me to hang out or anything. "how about you? go anywhere fun?"

 

"You were? I woulda called you. Everyone told me you had gone out of town...I'm sorry!" David says, scratching the back of his head nervously.

 

"Its ok. I could've just as easily picked up the phone." How can I stay mad at him? "So, you ready for one more fun-filled year of highschool?" Mindy says a little sarcastically as she shuts her locker and leans against it.

i'll sign up since this seems like more than enough fun to keep me happy after a lousy day at school.( wich is just about everyday FYI)

"ahh, freshmen year. Sad how no one could object me goin to school at all, Any ways wonder what cl***es i have this year. goes to check list.

 

"You know it..." David says just as sarcastically. "We in first cl*** together?" He asks.

 

Mindy looks at her schedule. "Says here I have advisory then Science for my first period. Do you?"

 

(OC: I think we have same schedule, so I'm gonna play off that. XP)
"Yeah, actually...both of those...Lemme see that..." Taking Mindy's schedule, David compares the two. "Dude we have the exact same schedule!"

"Really?!" Mindy takes both the schedules and compares them herself. "That's weird. We've never had the same schedules before." She hands David'd schedule back to him. "Well, I guess having all the same cl***es as you will just make the year more enjoyable." She smiles at him, and then coolly looks away. Why did I just say that? I didn't mean it the way it came out.

 

David just smiles at Mindy's comment. "Hey, come on, I still need to stash my book bag. PLus I'm terrible at getting these thing open on the first day." He says, hanging his head.

 

"Okay. Sometimes you just have to know the perfect spot to kick your locker." Mindy smiles again, happy that David didn't seem to notice her comment.

 

"Well, maybe you'll just have to do the kicking." David said, arriving at his locker. He went about putting his combo in. "18....46...27... Wait...Mindy, did you hear that?" David said nervously.

 

"Yes, I did." She gives a big grin. "Don't worry, I won't mess with your locker. Unless I feel like unloading my books in it instead of walking all the way to mine." XP

 

"That's fine, but you have to let me do the same then." David says smiling. "Anyways, sorry again about not catching ya all summer, hows this, I'll take ya out to coffee to make up for it, my treat."

 

"Sure to both statements. Except, lets make it ice cream. I don't like coffee."

 

"You too? Sweet, that'll make it even better. I'm no coffee fan, but smoothies aren't to bad. Ice Cream sounds delicious though."
