David sighs when he hears what Mindy starts to say. Figured as much... "Well, what instrument do you play Pat?" David asks.

 

OOC: ah...i miss hs drama.

Mindy avoids Pat's question. "I only know how to play harp though. How would that work out?"

 

"electric guitar", pat said to david

 

"Well...I can play just about any brass instrument...but I can sing decently." David says smiling. His mind is still on what Mindy said. Who the hell is the guy!

 

"oh.... hey mindy, u still didn't anser mw question. who is it?" pat asked mndy

"Yeah Mindy...why don't you tell us..." David says sighing.

"Ok. We got a harpist, guitarist, and a brassist/singer. This will be the weirdest band ever..." Why couldn't Pat bring up the band subject earlier? Now they think there's a guy. "Uh..."

Mindy lowers her head to hide her LYING FACE. "Well...his name's Stephen. He works at Hardees, where I met him. I don't think he knows I like him..." The lamest lie ever.

 

David looks like he got punched in the stomach. Welp, there goes that shot...

 

"is he nice, cute, smart or anything...?", pat asked mindy. looks like david got some competition..

Mindy feels empty all of a sudden. Why am I so worked up? Why am I making a guy up? They're gonna find out. And David... She still doesn't look up, afraid of the looks. "Uh...he's kinda all of those."

 

"hello..... anyone here besides me?", pat said to the two. silence.... always means something

"Hehe, well, I'm happy for you!" David manages to squeeze out. "Your lucky, I don't have anyone I really like." Least not now... david smiles weakly and shakes Mindy lightly. "You think Stephen'd mind if I still took you out to Ice Cream after school?"

 

"me too, i'm happy for you too!", pat said to mindy. "an ice cream date?", she said to david

 

He hates me, I know it... "No, its not like we're going out or anything." Mindy manages a slight smile herself. Was I talking about Stephen or David?

 

"who? stephen or david?", pat asked mindy

 

"Stepehen obviously, we aren't." David says chuckling, but dying a bit on the inside. Gotta be the supportive friend.

 

"Both. I'm not going out with either of them." That was the wrong thing to say...
