Okay. No insight, except that it fits in with my theory of Cherry being a Kira. Chances are I will fall on my arse,but hey, I can try.

Eraser Rain is taken into custody. He is beaten by Angelina Jolie with a steel paddle. After hours of inquisition, I mean, interogation, it is discovered that he is in fact Final Form. However, no evidence is found to suggest he is Kira, and he is released due to lack of evidence.

Death:

After Cherry has gone through a successful diet for two straight days, she goes to celebrate by going to the nearest ice cream store and orders a sundae (with extra cherries, of course), but she has an allergic reaction to the cherries and gets a heart attack from clogged arteries.
