Incredible. Apparently this Kira is trying to trick us.
What I think happened here was that both deaths were written at the same time, but Kira was on for one and not the other, to seem that it had nothing to do with him.

And now you get all nice when I bury you deeper. I don't believe that you're Kira, but I believe that you need to work on getting people to think that you're not if you ever want the death note.

 

This Kira also must not be as smart as last time, seeing as since Kira osted in Smiley's font, we could've accused him and Kira could've waited a few days before killing him off.

Instead, suspicions for Smiley are dropped once Kira kills him.
