KH: High Times At Twilight High

Rei laughed as Tifa hit her repeatedly with the soft pillow. It made her chest hurt, breathing heavily afterwards from trying to block. But when she began talking about Axel, bare chested and in trunks, and how Larxene had seen it first, Rei picked up her piillow again and bonked her on the head, giggling. "Hey, that's not fair game! And yes, as a matter of fact, he does know." Then, Rei grinned evilly, thinking of a little revenge for Tifa's little chit-chat from before. "Oh, and what about you? Cloud'll be waiting for you, all ready and naaaaaaked! Imagine that!"

Thinking of this made Rei burst into laughter, thinking of a joke an old science teacher had told her class. "Guess what? I've seen Axel's weinus, multiple times!" This sent her into a laughing fit, waiting for Tifa's reaction.

 

"What the hell?!" Tifa chortled with mirth at Rei's abrupt weird word that she spilled out now, only to smack her again with the pillow after giving her a look to say she was crazy, giggling a little. Bonking her on the side, now out of breath more than ever, she gave her a confident sway. She didn't mind her mentioning Cloud, because he was hers...really. Yuffie is a annoying pest. "Where did that come from?! And, oh!! I could imagine that! You know why, because we'll actually be doing something. I can touch him, feel him, get lost in him...and what about you? Hmmmm?" Weakly striking the pillow on her leg, she calmed down, only to eye Rei slyly. "Don't tell me you have never wanted or dreamed of a experience like that, with Axel, all passionate and the kisses that he brings to your body. But you did touch his weinus...though I'm not gonna fall for the fact of what everyone might think it means."

 

"Haha, sure. You can't wait for Cloud's weinus." Rei hit the tired Tifa with her pillow while she was down, giggling more. "It's actually your elbow skin, nothing gets past you. Buuuut... who doesn't think about that with their love interest, hmm? Especially today, as you said, he'll be wet, probably glistening and shiny. Who knows, maybe I'll get another peek at his weinus." Rei hit Tifa one more time, exhausted herself. "Besides, I still have some tricks up my sleeve. Heh, imagine what we can talk about tomorrow!" Rei started laughing, plopping backwards onto the cushioned couch from tiredness.

Still thinking about more stuff to do today, she looked up. "You know, my family lives on Sunset Hill. But it's just my parents and my cat, Willie. Just a side thing, I could show him which house is mine. You know, the big yellow-bricked one with the triangular green roof? That one tower-ish annex was my hangout." Rei thought about how she used to play back there, do drawing while looking out the window at the train tracks... "I wonder where he used to live."

 

Taking all that Rei was saying in, she nodded, before lifitng the pillow with all her might, and lurched it right at the side of her face on the soft side as a last word, because before she was using the edges sometimes. Huffing mockingly in pride, she placed the pillow down, and sat back to relax, clearing her throat as she began to sooth her uneven breathing nad heart beat. "Oh man, listening to the wet and glistening and shiny takes my mind back to Cloud. And to think, despite him being lanky, Axel does have a bod. Think you saw it at the pool...abs, triceps, muscles...uh-huh. He's fit. By the way, do you mean the weinus, weinus, or the weinus that everyone might think it means?"

She wiggled her eyebrows, before sighing peacefully, though turning wistful and a bit sad at the talk of house and families, and after awhile of silence, she spoke again. "I don't live here, I live in a place called Midgar, but you could say I moved. As for Axel, he was born here, but his parents moved to what is now known as Radiant Garden, then they moved back to Twilight Town either in fourth or sixth grade...I think it was sixth, and that's where he met Roxas. He has a mother and father....I saw them once...but...oddly, they look nothing like him...I mean, his mother has brown hair, and hazel eyes, while his father has ebony hair like yours and blue eyes. Though I might not remember well...it was a long time ago...I just noticed they didn't have anything similar...."

 

As Axel stared penetratingly into her, as he asked his question, Larxene knew he had hit it right on the nail. He was kind, being so concerned abotu her, but...she didn't really enjoy showing her feelings...and admitting them...it'd make her seem vulnerable, weak...but she just knew he wouldn't let this go until she told him.
"Axel...I...I just want to know..." She hesitated for a moment, as if drawing her courage. "Are you interested in Rei...at all?"

 

OOC: It's just "Rei" in this one :D I'm gonna have Aaron call Rei by her full name sometime and it'll be hilarious.

Axel felt himself stopped breathing for that one moment, like his respiratory system literally halted functioning in that second, and the grip of anxiousness took a hold of him. Of all the questions to ask...she had to ask this one? He let out a breath, his brain rapidly thinking of what to say, or do....he could easily say no, but that wasn't fair to her. And his reaction itself would serve his deception as false, Larxene was sharp as well. Shutting his eyes, he reluctantly lifted himself up a bit from her body, turning to her side softly, as his arm draped over her waist. Looking at her, he could see the top apart of the dress loose, ready for his taking...and eyeing her neck, he could spot the remants of the hickey he gave her on their time in the roof, the cover up fading a bit away by now.

Swallowing tightly as he tried to process what to say, he sighed, before explaining quietly, his arm gripping her tighter...just in case, "I wouldn't...call it interest, exactly...she's a attractive girl and..." He winced inwardly, though he did have to tell her, his voice lost a bit of its strength, however. Come on, Axel.... "I'm kind of...attracted to her...like the desire attraction. But is nothing deep or anything else other than that, I know....besides, at the dance we talked it over, seriously, and I semi-rejected her...the best I could as to not hurt her feelings...that's what the semi is for..."

 

OOC: Well, at least Rei's gotten that far xD. Just gotta bring him into the light, ya see? No? Well, it makes sense in my head. ^_^

"Really?" Rei asked, bewildered. "Then where did that head of hair come from?!" Rei's breathing became more steady after calming her body down, resting against her withdrawn pillow. She had noticed some uncomfortable feeling in Tifa when she had mentioned her hometown. "... What's it like there? In Midgar?" Rei stopped, thinking over her question. Maybe it hadn't been so hot to ask. "You don't have to talk about if you don't want to." Sighing, Rei took Tifa's hand and smiled. "Sorry if I upset you somehow."

 

OOC: I see ^^. He's got to play it more innocent though, he's a guy xDD. And chula, did you get the hint on what Tifa said?

Tifa shook her head, not at all offended. This was a friend, and she knew Rei didn't mean it that way or to be hurtful. Yet, remembering...was hard. Sighing again, he eyed her a bit depressingly, before beginning lowly, "Well, Midgar is a big, polluted city, divided in sectors. There's nothing wrong with it, really, I had a bar there. And...there's even a guy called Reno, who could pass off as Axel's twin brother..or simply brother. Even the same, rare, hair color. And they both have tattoos, though Reno's are red, and around the corner of his eyes. That, and his said eyes are blue, much older...he's a Turk, that's part of the government system there, think of secret agents...there's even one girl that looks like Larxene, weird enough..." She looked down at her lap for a little, her fingers wringing with each other. "It's a bit of a long story and hard to explain...and I had a father...but he passed away...he was actually murdered."

 

Axel mentioned Rei was attractive already made Larxene frown and her insides curl...but the way he was speaking - and reacting - showed that he was indeed, interested slightly in her, no matter how subtle or vague he tried to put it. It made her heart feel as it had dropped, as she felt a surge of anger grow within her.
Pushing at his chest roughly to have him release her, as well as to untangle her legs from his, she sat up, glaring piercingly at him. "So you semi-rejected her...and you have a sort of desire for her." She scoffed. "How lovely...here I was waiting for you, while you were just enjoying the affection she gave you...eating it all up...it's nice to see where your attractions lie..."
Briskly, she slid off the bed, standing up, stiffening.

 

OOC: The 'you could say I moved' part? Yeah, I know most of the story. Sephiroth killed her father to talk to his dead mother, which I still don't get that weirdo. Kinda awkward, with Cloud and everything, no that I think about it.

Rei looked at Tifa apologetically, and didn't say anything for a while. After a few minutes of dreaded silence, she broke it and sighed. "...I never knew my biological mom, she died when I was really little. But my dad met Aaron's mom, and so she's really the only mom I've ever known. There used to be a lot of pictures of her around the house when I was younger, but I think my dad eventually started putting them away. I never knew why though, it was either he was more happy with his new family, or he couldn't stand looking at her anymore. And the funny thing is, I was never really close to my parents, it was mostly me and Aaron. Heh, and when I was twelve, he got me Willie from some people down the street that had kittens. It makes me wish they allowed pets here." Rei smiled at the end of her heartfelt tale, shrugging.

 

OOC: Awww, that's fanart :3. And no, it's the part of Axel. And, yikes, whoa.

He closed his eyes a bit to await her reaction, but once he felt her hands drive him away, his insides sank in a glorius tumble of...what was it? Fret? Fear? The actually fear of her leaving? Opening them, he listened to her talk sadly, making him feel ashamed, but when she really got up, he jumped and sat upright, immediately, quickly trying to explain himself as he got hold of her wrist, secure and tight, gazing at her back intensely, though he hoped he heard the honesty in his voice. "It wasn't like that. We really were just playing video games, even Angel was there for a moment before she had to leave. I even admit...that she hugged me, but nothing happened, just a hug, I swear to you, Larxene. Listen. I'm being completely honest here..." He sighed as he breathed fast, feeling his constricted heart antsy...but there was more, and he didn't think he could manage keeping it to himself. That, and the outing that he and Rei decided to go to, that was the obvious...he had to explain, it's worse if she finds out by herself...and hopefully, she'll understand...that it wasn't the same. It isn't the same. "Please, sit down...we really have to talk..."

Tifa listened with open ear intently at her every word, until the very end, and it was her turn to peer sadly, and sorrowfully at her. They both had many heartbreaking past it seems, and she never knew her and her brother were so close. But the casuality at the finish made her think that Rei was over it...not over it, but at least not thinking and moving on, just like her. It seemed they had some things in common. Smilling at her sadly, she tapped her hand in comfort, before pulling it away. "I never knew that about you...then again, I don't think I even know Axel that well, and sometimes, I can't figure out Cloud either. But...you have to promise me one day...that I have to meet, Willie."

She stuck out her tongue, trying to liven up the now gloomy atmosphere.

 

When Axel had grabbed her, Larxene stiffened, even ready to strike him, when she heard his words. Slowly, she turned, facing Axel with a cold stare, before reluctantly sitting on the bed besides him. "Alright, what is it?" she said, her voice, emotionless, although with an underlaying tone of anger.

 

Axel felt something flutter down into his stomach in a ache at the way she was speaking and acting, when just moments she was so warm towards him. The difference between the two felt like a slap in the face, and he hoped...that this would somehow end well. Sighing, he stared at her apprehensively, yet with honesty in a every fiber she was seeing. "Listen, that's all I need you to do, alright?" He eyed her cryptically for a moment, before beginning. "Before, even us, Rei was kind of touching me sometimes, and I kind of tensed up, since...I feel uncomfortable, she's my friend, you know, especially now since I have you. I figured out sooner or later that she liked me, is not like she tried to hide it. Also at the dance.....we kissed, but it was an accident. Angel, the girl I mentioned before, bumped into us while we were slow dancing, and...well. It was simply lips touching....yet I gave her a real kiss, just as a gift of parting, of some sort, so she won't feel so upset and down when I tell her the truth that it just doesn't run that deep, or even deep. She's still my friend, and the last thing I want to do is hurt her, because I do care for her, just like I care for you, Tifa, and Roxas. We talked and sorted things out, and it remains we're close friends and she understands. Also, today..we...are kind of going to the beach...as friendly outing, only. I even did this with Tifa, and she's madly in love with Cloud...you've met him, I think. I don't know if she'll take it differently, but at this point, it doesn't matter to me..."

For the first time, since the explanation, he looked down briefly, not believing he's admitting everything, and trying hard not to see her expression anymore. Only later did he raised them up again to eye her, regretfully. "I know what I did was wrong, and I'm sorry. But trust me when I say you're the one I have feelings for, and attraction is just a passing phase. Hell, you can even sent a spy, or go after us when we leave, nothing will happen. Not ever. You would probably doubt me, and I don't blame you, but if it comes down to it...I will prove myself to you..."

 

OCC: helloz! um...what's happening?

 

OOC: Axel's hanging by a thin thread with Larxene having the scissors, that's what's happening xP (she's finding out about the Rei stuff). Rei herself and Tifa are chatting about anything, from Axel, to family, to pasts. I didn't write Riku yet, so I will now.

Riku began to portal them out as he got Sharix's okay, hoping that the shop his mom use to go to will save the plans he had hoped for. He honestly should've thought this beforehand when they were in school to pack a few small things, but he didn't want to spoli Sharix from the beginning either. As the darkness dispersed, the wisps around their bodies fading, they were right side to side with the store, away from people's eyes, and he stared at it, relieved as it was open. OPEN. Yes! He looked at Sharix proudly, coming out of the hiding place. "It's open! Now, let's see if you can pick out a nice bathing suit..."

 

OOC: Uh, ask TwilightNight...I'm a bit clueless. XDD

Larxene listened as Axel spoke, without once interrupting, just sitting there, staring into his face stoically. When he tilted his head down, she frowned, but still did not speak. When he finished, she closed her eyes, before re-opening them once more. There was a heavy tension in the air, so think, she could practically feel it on her skin. At last, she spoke, in a low, controlled voice, "I need to be alone right now...Axel..."

 

OCC: xD okies then.

Sharix turned to him. She had a confused look in her face. "bathing suit?" she repeats. "Alright now I'm pretty confused." she says.

 

Axel felt disappointment when those words were finally uttered, not to mention the tension was so thick right now, he could even feel himself being disclosed and cornered. It could've been worse though, so he did have to count his blessings, despite the anxiety not yet leaving. He nodded at her in understanding, before boldly grabbing the dangled straps of her halter dress, as he got closer, but not enough that would make her edgy. His hands went around her neck as he begin to tie a tight knot to hold the upper bodice and chest in place.

When he was done, he just listlessly took them away, wistfully wanting her touch, knowing he can't have it now. After a while, he muttered quietly, already knowing the answer. "Can't you stay? The patrols are out now, and you might get caught...you perhaps can get into trouble, unless you think you could make it..."

Riku just simply wiggled a index finger in her face teasingly, guding her inside the place to begin looking, and not waste any more time. It was already late as it is. "No reason to be confused, think on it. There's only one thing you use a bathing suit for or a...." At this, he sent her a wink. "Bikini..."

 

"Oh I see...actually no not really. I don't at all." Sharix says sighing. "and hey no bikinis! I'm a cautious kind of girl." she says.
