Aaron scratched the back of his head for a minute, feeling small drops of sweat on the back of his neck. It made him shiver a little. Was it obvious? That had never happened before..."Umm..." he stuttered. "Wh-what are you doing later? Wanna... meet at the cafeteria for lunch?" He hoped he hadn't sounded too nervous...

Aaron stood there, almost paralyzed as he awaited Angel's answer. Had he been too straightforward? Or did she think he was... weird?

What should I do?....what should I say?........most of the time whenever someone came up to me like that I was so sure that it was because it was a joke.......which it was........but.......judging by his nervousness....it's probably real...but....do I feel the same?

 

Taking in a deep breath, Aaron relaxed a little. "If you don't want to, or if you're busy or something, it's okay... I understand." Clenching his hand at his side, he mustered up whatever courage he had. "I-- really like you... Angel... and I'd really like to have lunch sometime."
