    The latest issue of Famitsu has included Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix in 8 pages, focusing on Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Fix specifically, discussing the characters, gameplay, and plot of the game, as well as including images (with a SD vs. HD comparison image of one scene). In addition, Famitsu has also conducted an interview with HD 2.5 ReMix co-director Tai Yasue. Both the scans and translated interview can be seen below:

      This seems incredibly unlikely

      Why do you say that? PS3 used 256MB. It can be easily filled and that is not a lot at all. I believe it. See how this game can produce so many effect and cache a lot of data this is definitely one of the games that pushed the PS2 to its limits.

      They're talking about BBS, for one thing, but even with KH2... I find it hard to believe something that ran fine on the PS2 is pushing the PS3, but with PSP it becomes even less likely

      He might have said it as a whole. IDK either way it lagged a lot on the PSP even if you did have it the CPU acceleration on. Now since almost everything is being updated and music, SFX and new SFX being added to BBS its going to have a lot to work with. I'll have more to look at when I extract the files from the game. 1.5 had one texture that was way over 4x its original.

      Hmm I wonder what the [ommited] parts in the interview said? Did he reveal too much and they had to make the interviewer erase it?

      It's great to see that they're putting much more effort and care into this HD ReMix. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix was stunning in HD from the first collection, but Re: Chain of Memories was definitely lacking that careful attention. It's far more evident through these scans that Birth By Sleep is receiving a lot more attention than Re: Chain of Memories had.

      The trick with Re:CoM was that the good looking cutscenes were all prerendered, so we basically got HD versions of PS2 cutscenes. If you look at Sora during the text based cutscenes he actually looks significantly better now, which is crazy backwards
      The actual environments and animations in Re:CoM were already way ahead of KH1 though, so they still look pretty solid

      Ahh Kairi looks gorgeous in that Destiny Islands scene. The added detail ;~;

      It pleases me that even the fish face models are looking considerably better.

      They pulled this last time with KH1.5 They had fake screenshots where they removed default face and had a better looking one
      don't trust the screenshots

      I know, I know, but hey- I want to at least have a little faith in them with II.5; they did say that they worked much harder on it than they did with I.5 after all. I'm hoping that they have learned from any flak that people gave them with the first.

      They have put more effort in though, particularly with BBS, that just probably won't extend to redoing scenes

      KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX in general received positive feedback. However in the cutscenes of KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days, we received opinions that it was “difficult to understand because there were no battle scenes”. So KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded was created in the same manner in KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX as footage with both battle scenes and event cutscenes. The battles will be one of the highlights of this title.

      It's good to hear that they took into consideration our feedback on 358/2 days. However I am still upset about it - they could have made it SO much better with battle scenes. At least Re:Coded won't suffer the same fate.[DOUBLEPOST=1403778298][/DOUBLEPOST]
      I was wondering the same thing, and I agree with you. They had to have the second "[omitted]" right at that point though didn't they.
