Namine loosened her grip slightly when she felt a sense of peace fill the room.

OOC: Are you sure you don't want to take it? xD

Sora, having been awake for some time now, gazed towards the window, the room very dark now that the light had disapeared from outside. It was pretty late...he was guessing 10 PM. But he wasn't tired anymore. Well, maybe he was, but he wasn't willing to admit it. He wanted to be awake for once.

Namine's breathing was even as she slept soundly.

 

Roxas' grip around Namine loosened a little as he slept.

Kairi shifted a little in her sleep, starting to wake up.

 

Sora turned his gaze downward and in the dim light, he saw that his hand was still in Kairi's. He smiled faintly at the sight.

 

Kairi sighed softly through her nose and then opened her eyes. She blinked a few times, the darkness of the room coming as a bit of a shock to her. It must've been late.

 

Sora turned his eyes toward the window and looked outside at the city, the building lights shining through the hospital window. It actually looked pretty nice.

 

Kairi's hand left Sora's when she brought it to her face, rubbing her eyes.

 

Sora blinked when he felt Kairi's hand leave his. She must have started to wake up now.

 

Kairi opened her eyes, her hand dropping to her lap. She couldn't really see anything in the dark room, the only light coming from the hallway outside through the small window on the door.

 

Sora kept his eyes locked on the window. He really wanted to be outside, but he would settle for sitting by the window. But he doubt he could get over there without help.

 

Kairi turned her head to look out the window, the pale moonlight shining through. Well, there was another source of illumination. She didn't hear any other movement in the room, guessing everyone else was asleep still. She got up from her spot and stretched, and then started walking toward the window in the room.

 

Sora bit down on his lip and shut his eyes halfway when he saw Kairi heading towards the window. He desperately wished he had that freedom, but he didn't. He was starting to wonder if he ever would have total freedom again.

 

Kairi stopped next to the window, looking up. The pale light hit her face as her eyes found the stars and moon, a clear and beautiful night upon them.

 

Sora shut his eyes and rest his head on the pillow, still in a sitting position. He suddenly didn't want to look outside as much as he had a few seconds ago.

 

Kairi looked over her shoulder, Namine and Roxas coming into view. She smiled softly at their position, admiring the couple's comfort. She then looked Sora's way, seeing that he had his eyes closed. She figured he was still asleep and so she turned her attention back to the window, looking down on the cabs and cars that passed by.

 

Sora let out a sigh, slowly leaning forward out of his pillows, stretching his back.

 

Kairi's head turned at the noise, and she realized her assumption had been wrong. Sora was awake.

 

Sora bit down on his lip, his world suddenly spinning. With a soft grunt, his head fell back into the pillows and his eyes shut tighter.

 

Kairi bit her lip and then started for his bedside.
